One day Aizawa came into my room, holding someone in his arms, she was small and had white hair and the signature red eyes of someone with Vampirism. "This will be Bakugo's replacement, Eri, she's patient number 20 she's six, and we've run out of room in the children's ward so she'll be living with you now."
"What do you mean Bakugo's replacement, he shouldn't need to be replaced. Why not give her his room that he's staying in now and move him back in here?" I smiled slightly, trying to look friendly to the girl but also a bit excited, hoping they'd take my suggestion.
Aizawa set Eri down. Everything that happened next seemed to happen in slow motion, "Bakugo died, he died four days ago."
I froze for a second before collapsing to the ground and bawling my eyes out. Eri looked at me like I had just murdered someone and I definitely felt like I had. Sure, there was nothing I could do but if I had maybe tried a little harder, or if I had found a way for us to escape maybe he'd still be alive and standing next to me, but I couldn't change anything now.
I guess I'd be stuck in the hell hole of a hospital that I was already in until the day I died like he had.
