Marilyn didn't sleep at all that night, instead, she paced around the Astronomy tower, trying to come up with why the horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach was there. Loads of ghosts had come overnight, helping her think up theories and the one she had settled on was that it had something to do with Voldemort recruiting. She wasn't pleased, and she still didn't know exactly what had happened.

At breakfast, she was sitting with Marvolo again at the Gryffindor table. These days, it was very rare she ever sat at the Ravenclaw one at all. She spotted Neville Longbottom a few seats down talking to Dean Thomas and offered him a small smile which he returned before they both returned to their food.

Marilyn paid the owl that had her copy of the Daily Prophet and unrolled it with a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach. She paled considerably as her eyes landed on the headline of the paper and she gave a sort of strangled cry.

'MASS BREAKOUT FROM AZKABANMINISTRY FEARS BLACK IS "RALLYING POINT" FOR OLD DEATH EATERS'

Her stormy, blue-grey eyes slid down the paper to where the pictures of the escaped death eaters were.

Some of the people in the photographs were silently jeering; others were tapping their fingers on the frame of their pictures, looking insolent. Each picture was captioned with a name and the crime for which the person had been sent to Azkaban.

Antonin Dolohov, read the legend beneath a wizard with a long, pale, twisted face who was sneering up at Marilyn, convicted of the brutal murders of Gideon and Fabian Prewett

Augustus Rookwood, said the caption beneath a pockmarked man with greasy hair who was leaning against the edge of his picture, looking bored, convicted of leaking Ministry of Magic Secrets to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Bellatrix Lestrange, convicted of the torture and permanent incapacitation of Frank and Alice Longbottom.

Marilyn's eyes trailed to the wizards on either side of Bellatrix.

Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange, convicted for the murders of Lyra Malfoy and her husband, Miguel.

"Malfoy?" said Ron, looking at the legends beneath their pictures on Hermione's paper. "Why would death eaters kill a Malfoy and her husband? I thought all the Malfoys were death eaters."

Marilyn and Marvolo both had murderous glares set on their faces directed at the redhead who had just insulted their mother and father without even knowing.

"Watch your mouth, Ronald," Marilyn said sharply, her expression frigid.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione looked up at the Gaunt twins in surprise. None of them had heard her use that tone and they certainly weren't expecting the sharp glares on both her face and Marvolo's.

"For your information, Lyra Malfoy and her husband were on the light side of the war. Lyra was a healer at St. Mungo's, and Miguel was an Auror who happened to work right alongside Neville's parents." She said, still looking at Ron furiously enough that he flinched.

"Sorry," he muttered. "I didn't even know there was another Malfoy. How was she related to that git?"

He jerked his head at Malfoy who was sitting at the Slytherin table, staring down at the Daily Prophet with an unreadable expression.

"She was his aunt. Lucius Malfoy's sister." Marvolo said coolly.

Ron nodded and then wisely decided to shut up, not wanting to infuriate the twins any more than they already were. Hermione continued looking between them, obviously running through why they cared so much in her head. Marilyn didn't even care much if she figured out they were related to Malfoy as long as she had enough sense not to insult their parents. Their dead parents.
