Wheels turned on the TV and the News Anchor said "You know this is an epic Heroic smackdown event when they've called in Sharkboy!" Everyone in the class cheered. "Earlier today, Sharkboy appeared from the ocean depths, landing in the beach of South Padre Island. And moments later, Lavagirl blasted up from inside an active volcano". Guppy cheered for her parents, the anchors continued "She's from the Earths core ya know. And here's Mayor Doolittle at today's ribbon cutting for his new city hall, rebuilt after the last time the Heroics went into action." A yellow blur went through the ribbon "Did you see that? Of course you didn't. That's means it's none other than Blinding Fast, the fastest heroic on the planet. "Go, dad!" Cheered Slo-Mo, "And here comes Crushing Low!" Continued the News anchor. Crushing Low crashed into the glass dome of the building causing it to shatter, "And there goes the Mayor's new building on record time.", "These battles at insanely expensive for taxpayers, but so... entertaining.

"It's all up to Marcus Moreno now" Missy and I saw our dad get knocked down by an alien, when he got up he was surrounded. He called Missy on her bracelet "Dad? Dad, we had a deal.", "I know. I promised I wouldn't be a hero anymore. But I'm still the leader of the Heroics.". "Dad? Dad, run! Get out of there!" she yelled into her bracelet, tears were brimming my eyes while blurring my vision. "And a good leader... leave by example." "Dad!", "I'm sorry, honey." He jumped into the aliens and they grabbed him, my eyes widened and I fell back into my seat sobbing into my hands. Missy hugged me and we cried into each other's shoulders, "...The Heroics have fallen...". "We're getting word that the president would like to address the nation", "People of America, as you have witnessed, the Heroics have been captured. Military forces are stepping in, mobilizing to bring our heroes back. But while it looks rather hopeless... it's bad, it- it's hopelessly bad" I turned hearing Facemaker "How did this guy ever get to be president? He can't even put two sentences together". "We have just received a message from the supreme commander of the aliens that has been decoded. It reads, 'We are from the planet Ogima. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to prepare you for... takeover. Please comply, or else Earth will be destroyed. You have three hours' I'm afraid that was the entire message. There are no heroes left. God save us all". The TV screen went black when suddenly Miss Granada appeared on the screen "Children, for your own safety, we're going into full lockdown. No one leave your seats. As long as you stay where you are, you are all safe". The tv went back into the ceiling, "Yeah, right. They can't protect us from that. We just saw it." Said Noodles, "You got a better idea?" Asked Wildcard. "We should probably do what Miss Granada says." Said Guppy, Missy tried saying something but everyone kept interrupting her.

"Hey! Missy is trying to say something so shut it!" Everyone turned "We need to leave this room right now" Guppy asked why "Because the aliens know where we are, and they're coming for us next" Wildcard scoffed "How could you possibly know that?" I walked over to Ojo and asked for her iPad she gave it to me and I held it up at the front of the class. "Ojo drew these. Facemaker standing on top of the floating chairs, Noodles smashing the exercise ball...". Wildcard being the jerk he is said "She draws what she sees, big deal." I rolled my eyes and continued "She drew these things five minutes before they even happened. Ojos superpower isn't that she can draw good, she can draw the future". "Okay, cool, good for Ojo. What's your point?", "She also drew these alien creatures breaking into this very room. There" I pointed to a green fan. I handed the iPad to Wheels as Noodles asked "Woah. You're saying they'll be coming in through there?" "She's right. All these drawings suddenly make perfect sense. Ojo can see the future". "Let me get this straight. Some new girls show up with absolutely zero powers, and suddenly we're gonna do what she says?", "Seems like she's gotta point." Said A Capella "Thank you!" I said holding my hand out towards her "Finally! Someone agrees with me" I said glaring at Wildcard. "And... a moment a go, you even agreed that we weren't safe here" "Where safer in here than running around outside with you playing 'captain". I took the iPad from Wheels and handed it back to Ojo "I just wanna get out of here. If anybody wants to join me, you're free to follow", Wildcard sighed got up from his seat and said "Fine. We're getting out of here, but only because I say so, you got that?". Wheels spoke up "Well what's the plan? Granada said this place is on lockdown. There'll be guards everywhere." "Yeah (Y/n). What's the plan?". I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms "Well... I kinda figured this is kind of like making an omelette. You always start by..." Noodles stretched his head over to me and finished my sentence "Breaking some eggs..." and we looked at the door.
