MISTAKE (Wildcard x reader)

Chapter 4

(I just noticed Missy has barely said anything this whole story 😭)

3rd POV

     Facemaker poked his head out from behind the door and saw three guards standing there the turned to him as he asked "Hey, is that updog?" The middle guard asks "Whats, updog?". "Not much, just living my best life over here. Not like I'm totally up to no good or anything". He said as he made a weird smile and ducked back into the room, the three guards walked in while closing the door. They walk in to see the kids standing together with (Y/n) in front "So don't ask us how we know this but aliens are about to attack, and we're no longer safe here" the middle guard looked at her and said "This place is a fortress. Nothings getting in.  And I'm afraid no ones getting out, either. Those are the rules.". (Y/n) sighed "Oof! Then we're definitely getting out of here, and so we're gonna need your access cards. Like, now" the guard chuckled "And uh, you think we'll just hand these to you?" She exhaled "No, but it would have made this whole thing, a whole lot easier" she looked over to the side where Wildcard, Facemaker, and Noodles were. "Cushions" said Missy the boys brought over the cushions and placed them in front of the guards, they joined the group as the guard said "What are these for?" "Tell 'em Guppy". Guppy walked forward with her arms crossed "To protect your butts when you hit the ground" the guard looked at her and said "Why don't you get back in line" he rushed her with his hand. (Y/n) started bouncing on her leg  'don't do it man. Don't do it...'. Guppy grabbed his forearm and flipped him over her onto the cushion, he groaned "Oh,no!" The second guard came up behind her, she turned around grabbed his arms and kicked him to the other cushion. "She's got shark strength!" Said the first guard, Guppy approached the second guard again and kicked him to the swinging rope seat (Idk 😅) "Have a nice nap" she said while waving to him. The third guard came up behind her but Noodles grabbed him and flung him in the ground while taking his access card and handing it to (Y/n) he grabbed the other two access cards.

Your POV

     I approached the first guard "Aliens really are about to attack, so we will have to leave your expert care, until you and Miss Granada know what we know." An alarm goes off and bars cover the door. The guard chuckles and Fast Forward says "This was a bad idea", "Wheels, next time this happens, don't let the guard reach the alarm. Noodles, you'll take his jacket and cuff them". That guard tilted his head up and asked "What next time? You kids aren't-" we all looked behind Wildcard as the fan stopped there was a pause then purple tentacles bust through the fan. Wildcard looked at me and yelled "Told you your plan wouldn't work!" The tentacles grabbed him "No!" yelled Missy, I rolled my eyes and looked around for something to use. I spotted a metal pipe; I picked it up and threw it at the tentacles, it hit them and they squirmed then I felt really cold and ice shot out of my hands toward the tentacles. They froze and Wildcard got stuck, I gasped as my eyes widened and my hand flew over my mouth. "Rewind, send us back" said Missy, "So we will have you leave your expert care, until you and Miss Granada know what we know". Wheels ran over the guards legs so he couldn't reach the button, Noodles cuffed the guards and took the jacket. "C'mon, let's go!" Missy yelled "Single file line! like a fire drill. Well be questioned less that way." I was ushering everyone out of the room when Wildcard stopped because the tentacles busted through again "Beginners luck" he ran past me and brushed my arm. He shivered then turned to me with his eyebrows scrunched together.

     Then we closed the door, "Noodles, stretch and make yourself tall!" I heard Missy. I couldn't hear much from the back of the line but I heard something about 'fellow grownups' then the alarm went off so we all ran I turned to see Missy bump into someone and apologizing when I saw that it was Granada she bumped into I grabbed her wrist and ran. We stopped running when bars appears in front of us "Were in trouble" said Guppy, we ran the other way when we slid to a stop because there were guards. "That was our only exit!" Yelled Missy "Not our only one!" Me and Wildcard yelled at the same time while pointing up. "Are you insane? How are we supposed to get up there?" Asked Fast Forward Missy looked around"A Capella? You made furniture float. Can you do the same with people?". She looked up "To go up high. I have to sing very... low The guards started floating making a staircase "Climb as fast as you can!" Yelled wildcard we all started climbing up with me behind him, when he got to the top he yelled "Noodles, open up the hatch!" After he did Wildcard climbed up but since I'm so short I couldn't get up. He looked over the edge "(Y/n), grab my hand!" I reached up and he pulled me up, I fell on top of him our faces only inches apart. I quickly got up and ran towards the tram. Wildcard tried to pry the doors open "Noodles, the access cards!" Noodles stretched is arm and swiped the card. Once we all filed in I sat down on Wildcard not knowing he was there, I blushed and jumped up "Nope!" and went to the other side of him. "The tram will only take us to just outside of the force field, then they'll catch us for sure. Look! They're already mobilizing" yelled Wheels "Guys! Brace your selves!" I yelled. Everyone held on to something "You too Guppy" I said pointing to the girl, "A Capella, make us fly." Wildcard said looking at her. She sang a low note and her hair stayed floating and her eyes glowed yellow, the tram was lifted into the air and we all cheered. Wildcard grabbed the side of my face and I grabbed his wrists

Our celebration was cut short because A Capella informed us that she can't steer "She can't steer! We're gonna crash into that building!" I yelled letting go of Wildcard and pointing to a building in front of the tram. "We need to change directions!" Yelled Wheels we all looked at Noodles "I'm on it!" He twisted his hand and punched the window breaking the glass. He grabbed the pole inside the tram and turned to me "(Y/n), can you try freezing that pole down there?" I looked down at the pole and my heart started racing I closed my eyes 'I only found out I had this like twenty minutes ago!' then held my hand out and ice shot towards the pole freezing it. Noodles jumped out and grabbed it swinging us around "Help him out!" I yelled, Facemaker, Wildcard, and the twins grabbed his hand but it slipped so I grabbed his hand with Rewind. Noodles finally let go and flew back inside the tram, Facemaker looked at the guards and made a face. I sighed and looked at Wildcard who leaned his head back against the back of the seat.
