Chapter Forty-Six: Apartments

Law put down his phone and got up off the couch. It was just after 12 now, and the house was still silent. Law took it he wasn't the only one with a massive headache. Law got to his feet and got the coffee pot going. He'd need at least an entire cup before he tried to wake Sabo up. Law managed to get something to eat too, it wasn't much, just a small bowl of cereal but it made a world of difference for how shitty he felt. 

Law slowly downed his cup of coffee while checking his Twitter feed. For the most part, it was full of stuff related to Shachi and Peng's podcast and whatever nonsense Luffy and his friends were up to. Luffy and Usopp had just posted a video... and one with Kid in it at that. Law scrunched his nose but didn't bother clicking the link. He was sure Luffy had mentioned whatever happened in the video already anyway. 

Law didn't want to try to remember it, after last night his brain was running in circles and Law couldn't even keep track of his own thoughts. And at this point, he didn't want to. 

When he finished his first cup, Law filled the mug up again and set his phone down. Time to go bother Sabo. Law went back through the living room and down the hall, Sabo's door was cracked open just a little. Law knocked on the door, but his knock pushed the door open more, so there was really no point to that. 

"Sab-" Law started to say until he was overcome with laughter that he quickly stifled. Koala was in bed next to Sabo. He knew she had stayed the night, but Sabo was so adamant about them being friends that he assumed he'd come in to find Sabo asleep on the floor. Law got his shit together and ventured further into Sabo's room. 

He didn't need to wake Koala up after all. Once Law was standing over Sabo, he nudged his shoulder. 

"Sabo-ya," Law muttered, nudging him a little more. 

"Wah?" Sabo muttered without so much as opening his eyes. 

"Just friends, are you?" Law said with a little smirk. He was only teasing Sabo. 

"Huh?" Sabo opened one eye and looked up at Law, groggy and confused. Sabo rubbed his eyes and looked around. His eyes landed on Koala who was lying next to him. Her back was to him and Law and Sabo and Koala weren't sharing blankets.
