Chapter 50

3rd P.O.V:

Pietro woke up before his sister and went downstairs. He heard a car pull up to the house and flashed to the door. He quietly unlocked the door and let himself out. He saw Edward, Alice, and Jasper getting out of their car.

He nodded his head in greeting but didn't let his guard down. Pietro was still cautious of them even though his gut said that they wouldn't hurt him or his sister. "Good morning Pietro. We thought you and your sister might like to join us for a baseball game tonight." Edward said.

Pietro narrowed his eyes slightly at this but nodded his head. "Let me see vhat my sister says," Pietro said as he moved back towards the house. "Vould you like to come in?" Pietro asked as he gestured to the door.

The smile Alice gave him could outshine any diamond. "That would be awesome!" Alice said as she practically danced towards the door. Pietro couldn't help but smile at that spontaneous action from the pixie-like vampire.

The four of them walked into the house and saw Charlie in the kitchen. "Hi, Charlie," Pietro said as he went over to his foster dad. Charlie smiled at Pietro and then took notice of the three behind him. 

"Hello, Mr. Swan," Edward said in a slightly formal voice. "Hi, Charlie," Alice said in her bubbly voice while Jasper just nodded his head in greeting. "Hello," Charlie said as he looked at them. He then turned back to Pietro. 

"Where's your sister?" Charlie asked. "She's still in our bedroom," Pietro said. Bella walked down the stairs and saw Edward in her kitchen, and started to freak out silently. "Mr. Swan, we were wondering if Wanda and Pietro would be allowed to come with us for lunch and then a family baseball game after," Edward asked. 

Charlie narrowed his eyes at Edward and then glanced at Alice and Jasper. He was silent for a moment and then nodded. "Of course. That's fine." Charlie said. "Dad!" Bella said in a whiny voice. Charlie was startled at high pitched voice. 

"Bella?" Charlie asked as he turned to his daughter. "That's not fair! You let them skip school.. all the time and let them do whatever they want, but you yell at me for coming home 30 minutes late?!" Bella all but screamed at her father.

Wanda and Pietro were coming down the stairs when they heard Bella yelling. The raw anger coming from Bella made Wanda grab her head. "I got you," Pietro said as he held her. Bella turned towards the twins and sneered.

"Pull yourself together, slut. You need to get over yourself and stop being so dramatic." Bella said as she watched Wanda. The whole room froze once those words left Bella's mouth. "ISABELLA MARIE SWAN! You do not talk to your sister like that! Go to your room!" Charlie yelled.

Bella turned towards Charlie with a disbelieving face. "What? Why?" She whined. "For calling your sister a slut." Charlie said. "She's not my sister!" Bella whined. "GO! NOW!" Charlie yelled. Pietro was holding his little sister in his arms while she quietly cried.
