Hatake Katoka's POV

Been stuck here in this hospital got me a sore back from lying.

I wonder if Iruka is expecting me to go back in his apartment now.

" Tenzou ~ "
I called out and he snapped attention suddenly.

" W-What is it?"

" You can sleep to the next bed, you know? ~"
I expressed as he scratched his eyes, it's clear he's sleepy though.

" No... I'm fine. "

" Seriously? It's not like I'm escaping though~ "

And Tenzou only straightened his stance. I sighed from looking at his sleepy face but resilient body.
If he's not gonna rest, might as well just talk to him.

" Oi Tenzou~ Does Kakashi have a lover?"
And Tenzou turned to me with a perplexed face,

" Well as far as I know... no one. "

" Then how about a love interest? "

" Err... I think, yes..?"

" Who? "

" I don't know. "

" Aiyahh~~ You lied to me twice Tenzou~ "

And Tenzou flinched then complained,

"What?? How did I lied... and why twice?! "

I chuckled from his expression then sneered,

" I told you, I had look at Kakashi's memories. "

" Ehhh-----"

" I know, you know who it is."

Then Tenzou not replying me only slowly approached the furthest bed from me then lie himself.

" I'm too exhausted actually. I know you're a good person, I hope you won't cause me trouble. "
Tenzou resigned to the bed as I was about to say something but I can already hear him snoring-----so fast!

Tenzou just literally evaded the topic huh.
Perhaps he doesn't want to pry on other's affairs?
But well, I'd respect either way.

As Tenzou sleeping on a side, I stealthily sneaked out of the Hospital.

Few hours ago...

Aghast. With a scornful face, I slowly walked to the streets going back to the Hospital.

Tsk.. I almost throw rocks on Iruka's roof just to disturb them-----but no, I shouldn't do it.

The reason of my sour mood is because awhile, I hurriedly went back to Iruka's apartment but what I saw at the window were them, Kakashi and Iruka happily having dinner.

Pshh.. now I'm hungry!
I recall I haven't eaten since morning----ah, I actually ate at the hospital though.

Now, aren't they that close to be having dinner together?
Or Kakashi did man up again? And would gonna back out afterwards...

His advances were really subtle and inappropriate for someone as innocent like Iruka.
It's more likely possible that they might get down and dirty from such impulse and still having no label of relationship.

I'm anticipating who's gonna confess first with them though.

The next day.

Fortunately. I got back last night at the hospital while Tenzou is still asleep.

"Godaime told me to release you. You're free to go wherever you like now but once you threaten harm to the village, you'll never be excused. And that's what Godaime ordered me to tell you. "
Tenzou expressed to me.

" Oh?"

" And by the way, Kakashi is in the training ground near this hospital. He told me to tell you that as well. "

" Is that so. Thank you Tenzou~"

" Please stop calling me 'Tenzou' already. My name's Yamato!" "

" Sure, Tenzou."

And Tenzou just facepalm and I chuckled.

" Well , won't you come with me to the training ground?"

" Nope. I need to go back to the foundation immediately. "

Shortly and we both go our turns. I leisurely take my time walking to the training ground Tenzou had told me. It's really indeed not too far from the hospital.

At the benches situated under the shades of the tree, I saw Kakashi sitting and reading his orange book.

That orange book which slapped my face before. Tsk.

I slowly approached and when I'm in front of him I uttered,

" Shiro Hentai."

Kakashi flinched. He let his book down then just look at me.
I took the initiative to sat into the benches beside him.

" Who are you calling a ' white p-pervert'??"

" You. And that Jiraiya"

" You know Jiraiya-sensei?"

" Yeah , I met him before at some village with lots of brothel. And I knew, he's the novelist of that book you're reading. "

" Is he releasing another volume of Icha Icha------"
Kakashi with a glowing expression said so I interrupted him.

" How about you told me what part of your apartment have you had renovated or fixed? "

And Kakashi flinched.

I actually heard some of their conversations last night and so I check Kakashi's apartment but no worker is there working overtime.

" Well~ It's not too harmful though. I know that was just an excuse. "
I deadpanned.

" Last night, eventually I didn't end up asking Iruka but since you're here, might as well ask from you.. so are you.. Iruka's-----"

" Cat. I'm Iruka-sensei's cat. "

" What? "

" I mean, friend. You relieve now? "
I deadpanned again.

" Eh... "
Kakashi was almost speechless but I know he's really surprised perhaps there's a rumor saying I'm Iruka's partner or something.

" I know Kakashi. I even saw the memories which you've even forgotten. "

" Is that so...."

" Yep. Now why are you hesitating? "
I sternly asked him this time and he only put on his nonchalant expression as he look in front of him avoiding my gaze.

" Well... how to put it..but I'm hesitating because I don't know if it's really love. "

" What the hell are you reading some books for ?! Is that book only about porn and no romance?! "

" No. It's... it is a mixture of both. "

" Ah then, you haven't learned anything even though you're so passionate in reading it. "
I deadpanned as he only gave a sideway glance to me.
Like got hit the head of the nail, huh.
