Entry 25

The interval of Katoka's shock from Kakashi's aghast exclamation was an opportunity for the agitated one to left the scene or more likely---escape.

It was too late, Kakashi fled and Katoka wasn't able to tease him further.

" Aiyah~ too bad. He flew. "
It wasn't the loud voice that shocked Katoka but the desperate eyes and reddening ears of Kakashi seemingly at the end of his wits. Truthfully, Katoka was taken aback for she's afraid that Kakashi might throw a tantrum to her but while thinking about it, she deeply sighed and clasped her forehead then murmur amusingly.

" What am I thinking? There's no way that guy would succumb to himself in front of anyone, let alone to me knowing I'm a walking tease."

Until her ears caught the sound of rustling in the bushes nearby. She can hear the soft groans of a wild animal. Deciding to take off from her mind the matter with Kakashi, Katoka then thought that hunting boars would be more simple and fun.

" Aside from the innate stubbornness, people are mostly cowards. "

It's almost twilight.

Iruka waited patiently at a long wooden chair outside. He is done fixing and is ready to leave, just that his companion isn't arriving yet.

A clamour suddenly appeared in the air. Iruka flinched and turned his head from the direction of the commotion. The villagers ran to a certain direction and their faces painted a delightful expression. Wondering what is it, Iruka joined the clamour, he leisurely approached and found out it was Katoka the people were cluttering about.

As she appeared from the forest, she was filthy all over like she had dove into the ground even her garments were torn in some parts while her two hands were with the wild boars.

" Everyone,  I caught wild boars!! Tonight's a feast! "

The villagers exclaimed in joy as her beaming smile is brighter than the bonfire of the village.

The villager's cook took charge of the meat. And so immediately, she was helped out from the wild boars she's dragging.

While at a corner, Iruka was shocked. He quickly approached Katoka.

" You were hunting the whole day??"

" Hmm.. it would be more appropriate to say, I roam over the forest all day, I did lots like napping, bathing and hunting! It was fun!---ah!"
Suddenly, Katoka covered her lips with her hand.

" What? why?---hey! You were dragging a wild animal awhile! "

" Eh! Animal eats animals, I washed it awhile, too. And I thought you would be mad since I enjoyed myself alone the whole day! You wouldn't want to be left, would you?"

" What a kid..."
Iruka inwardly thought.

" N-no... It's okay, Katoka-san. Just---"

" Ah yeah! since you enjoyed yourselves last night so ofcourse, you would want rest today, well~ "
Katoka suddenly interrupted Iruka's reply. And instantly, Iruka's mind was fast to process what she had said, he realized she must be talking about that last night he had with Kakashi. Iruka can no longer think of anything as he's sure that's indeed what Katoka is talking about. Due to past records like that occurrence in his place before but Katoka knew that, knowingly, Iruka would rather not lie nor deny when talking to Katoka since the woman seems to know about what's happening between him and Kakashi- even without using her special ability of reading mind through direct contact.

" W-What? Ah, --eh..err.."
Amidst his shaken state, Katoka just laughed loudly at him.

" You're flustered, Iruka-sensei~ why's that? You should be fine, right or are you hurt somewhere?"
