Gauri followed Omkara out of the kids room
"Mr Oberoi?" Gauri called to gain his attention
"Yes??"
"I want to talk to you about something!!" She said
"Go ahead!!" He told her
"It's just that....We need to go for some shopping " Gauri said hesitantly not wanting to hurt his feelings
And his ego!!
"Right!! I was wondering when that demand would come" Omkara retorted dryly making Gauri frown
But when she realised what he was implying she lost her cool
Screw his feelings and ego!!
"Mr Oberoi....the designer wardrobe you have provided for your three year old little girl is neither practical nor comfortable. It would do your daughter some good if you could provide her with some casual clothes in which she can feel comfortable " Gauri said equally dryly
"Oh I thought...." Omkara was cut off by
"Ofcourse you will think!! Why am I not surprised??" She asked sarcastically
"Well, you do have a reputation Gauri Trivedi " Omkara reminded her yet again
"Yeah..that's right!! But what to do!! Now I'm off shopping ,period!! As you already know ,my interests are pretty inconsistent. Don't worry I will let you know when I regain my interest in shopping. Then you can take me shopping for a new wardrobe " she said airily cocking her hip to one side and leaning against the wall giving him a bright smile
Omkara scowled
"Get ready. We will go shopping and buy things for Ava and Advi" Omkara said
"But Advi has everything " Gauri said
"And I want to buy things for my son!! Do I need your permission for that too Ms Trivedi??" Omkara asked gritting his teeth
"Well ,its your money. You can burn it for all I care" Gauri said and turned around walking in to get the kids ready for the shopping
Once she got herself and the kids ready ,they came downstairs
Ava was hesitant to come out of the room
She had never stepped out of that room in the past three months
But ,then Gauri had tempted her with the new comfortable clothes and toys
"Gauri ?? Is there any lunch left??" Rudra asked grinning at her
Gauri rolled her eyes
So much for never using the home kitchen
"Sure...do you want some too??" She asked turning to omkara
"Oh no !! He doesn't. He wouldn't want to get used to it" Rudra said smirking at his elder brother
Gauri shrugged and walked inside the kitchen and served lunch for Rudra
Rudra took a bite and moaned
"You have magic in your hands Gauri" Rudra said making gauri chuckle
They looked up when Omkara took a seat next to Rudra
Rudra in turn raised an eyebrow at his big bro
"You want something om??" Rudra asked cheekily
"We are going shopping. I don't want to waste their time stopping for lunch. So I will have something before we leave" Omkara said glaring at his brother
