I was peacefully sleeping until the loud blare of my alarm woke me up.
I smacked my alarm shut, walking over to my closet and choosing an outfit. I sighed as I checked my phone and read the "left early for the stronghold, failing math lol" text I got from Wildcard.
Mornings like these were always quiet, with Wildcard out of the house and my father barely home, I sort of learned to be independent.
Downstairs, my father was chewing on a bowl of very soggy cereal while typing at his laptop. "Morning, Dad."
My father mumbled a small 'morning' back at me and went back to his work. "What are you doing?" I asked as I sat in front of him.
"Work stuff," He replied, "I'm heading out in a bit."
I looked at the pictures on the walls around me. Wild and I was inseparable, him being only two years older than me meant we were best friends.
When he started school, however, my father forced him into a private online institute. That's why my brother stays at the stronghold all the time.
When it was time for me to start school, my father pulled me into a homeschooling program, which over the years turned into no school for me at all.
I never understood why I wasn't there too, I was just as powerful as he was, and I wasn't failing out of my classes like he was.
My powers were just as powerful as Wildcard's and yet he seemed to have more of a priority, in my mind, it wasn't fair. But I guess it's not a bad thing to have more freedom.

I sat down in my seat as everyone sat down in theirs. I opened my laptop to see a message from my father.
"Hey, Bud. Big mission today, tell Mrs Granada to pick Mayflower from the house. She's got no school today." It wasn't a surprise May was home alone, ever since dad became a Heroic and I started school, it seemed like she was always home alone.
"Hey Wildcard!" Missy greeted. "Hi." I said, my eyes still focused on my computer as I quickly typed out a response.
"Wheels, any news about our parents?" Missy asked as she set her hand on my shoulder. "I don't know, let's see." Wheels said while he pushed a button on his wheelchair and the TV turned on.
"The whole Heroic team has been called for this mission!" The girl reporter said as the camera zoomed in on Mrs. Vox. "That's never a good sign." Facemaker sighed in the background.
The sky was always the Heroics' playing ground, it gave them leverage over whatever they were fighting, and it mostly just looked cool.
As Mrs. Vox sang her heart out, a ship appeared from thin air. A crew in all black came out.
My heart dropped, in a split second, the Heroics were in the crew's arms, and struggling to break free.
Not that long later, every single Heroic had been captured. I got a facetime call from Mayflower and I answered it.
"Wild?!" She asked. "Yes, May its me." I replied.
"Have you seen the news?" She panicked. I nodded my head and she said, "Get out of there. Quick. You got out of there once, you can do it again."
"Are you crazy? I'm safe here, you need to get here." Mayflower wouldn't listen. "You know what happens when you stay there."
I hung up the call and told Missy, "We need to leave. Now." She nodded and looked at Facemaker. Facemaker called the guards and we waited for him to come back. He came back with the guards behind him.
"We did this once and were doing it again. We need your access cards." Missy said. The guards laughed and crossed their arms. "Thats not happening." He said, staring us down like we were turkey on Thanksgiving.
We spread behind and Guppy walked to the guards and the guards quickly gave her the cards.
She threw all of the guards down as I scoffed.
We exited and ran quickly. We soon found ourselves on the edge of a beach.
"What do we do now?" Wheels asked. "I'll handle this." I said as I grabbed my phone and dialed May's number.

My phone started ringing and I saw that Wild was calling me.
"What did you do now?" I sighed. He spoke in that tone he always did when he needed something, telling me that I knew he would need my help. "Can you see where I am?"
"Yeah, I'm sending over transport." As I clicked on my computers, boats specifically designed for me had been sent out.

May hung up and I looked at the team. "I got it covered."
Soon after I said that, a boat pulled up. Everyone looked in astonishment while Wheels looked excited.
"Can I-" He started but I cut him off. "Go ahead, May let you operate it.
He quickly wheeled into the boat and the others followed.
We sailed until we stopped by a house. It was my house.
"Guys, get off the boat." I said. All of them nodded and stepped out, all except for Wheels. I looked at him confusedly. "What? He said to get off the boat. I cant get off, I can only wheel off." He explained.
"Okay. Then wheel off the boat!" I growled at him. He quickly wheeled off the boat and we went to the backyard to practice again.
May was homeschooled and was trained for her powers. Though because I was sent to a public school, I didnt have time to train for my powers.
Everyone started training and then Guppy yelled. "Ouch!" She cried. Everyone walked over to her and saw that she had a cut on her leg. I picked her up and walked into the house.
I put her down on the living room as Missy tried to find a first-aid kit to disinfect and heal Guppy's wound.
"I cant find a bandaid!" She yelled. "Keep on trying!" I yelled back.
I started arguing with her, storming upstairs. Everyone followed me and saw a girl typing something on a computer, her puffy black hair covering her face.
Fast Forward had held Guppy up.
"Who is this?" Rewind asked.
"Guys. This is Mayflower, My sister."
