3RD PERSONS VIEW
"Okay, so for the first runway, I'll be doing five pairs. The pairs listed here are... Park Jisung and Chae Yuri..." the list continued as Hendery sat beside Minjun, both of them dazing off after a few lessons on how to walk down the runway. "And lastly we have Wong Kunhang and Kwon Seoyeon."
Minjun's eyes widened and she glances at Hendery who's jaw dropped after he heard his name being called. He had no problem of being partnered with somebody else but he didn't really like the idea of being partnered with Minjun's ex. His face contorts in distaste, a pout to form on his lips. "Are you serious?" He murmured, lowering his head.
Minjun patted his shoulder, "Hey, you'll be alright. I don't think Seoyeon's gonna bother you anyway and if she does- just ignore her."
Hendery sulked, eyes closed, with the pout not going away. "This is so ridiculous." He sighs, standing up and walking towards where the pairs gathered. When he was gone, Donghyuck immediately strutted to where Minjun sat, giving her a slight push as he sat down. "Hey there lone blueberry, I see your boyfriend's partnered with miss blondie over there."
"Ahh, don't even mention it, Hendery doesn't like it one bit." She chuckles, resting her jaw on the palm of her hand.
Donghyuck immediately cackled, rolling his eyes, and muttered, "Of course he doesn't. Who would." He then straightens up, glancing over at a few people, noticing the closeness between Yuri and Jisung. They seemed to be having a deep conversation in the middle of their runway practice, not that Ms. Hirai was paying attention to them. He nudges Minjun once again and said, "Hey, look at those two."
Minjun quirked a brow up in amusement, a small smile tugging up her lips. "Cute. But they're just friends."
"And how so?"
"I just know so."
Donghyuck eyed her weirdly, shaking his head. "Maybe."
Meanwhile, where the partners were currently taking their practice, it wasn't much bright as they had thought with Jisung and Yuri. Although some of the partners had no comment towards their partners, it's the opposite for the other two who were at least five feet away from each other. Hendery had his arms crossed in front of him, trying to isolate himself from the rest of the group. Ms. Hirai notices this and calls him out, "Kunhang, why are you so far away from your partner?"
"Uhh... I think I'm good here." He mumbled, only for him to hear, and quickly made up with a good excuse. "I think my partner would've preferred a better one."
Seoyeon narrowed her eyes at him before chuckling dryly. "Ms. Hirai, I think I'm good, actually." She emphasizes the last word causing Hendery to slightly glare at her. He sighs and gets close, but not too close for his liking.
Ms. Hirai sends Hendery an apologetic look upon noticing his uncomfortableness before heading off to start with the first pair. Jisung and Yuri.
The silence between Hendery and Seoyeon was unbearable, awkward, and brought discomfort towards both of them. Seoyeon had no idea why Hendery was being so distant towards her despite not even knowing her, then she realized that Hendery was one of Minjun's friends.
