3rd person P.O.V

Connor had regretted going to school the moment he stepped into the dimly lit building. He started walking to his locker to grab his stuff. Things were going moderately fine until that Jared guy commented on his hair. ''I-I was kidding. It was a joke'' he looked pretty terefied just from Connor looking at him but Connors temper was already out of control ''No, yeah. It was funny. I'm laughing. Can't you tell? Am I not laughing hard enough for you?" Jared was now laughing nervously while the boy next to him was staring at his feet as if he'd get killed just by blinking at Connor. And at that moment it might have been true. Jared had made another off hand comment that Connor didn't catch but was sure it was as nice as all the others. He stormed of before he a teacher would notice the commotion. He didn't feel like dealing with his annoying teachers so he started looking for a quiet place to sleep or maybe draw.

After mindlessly storming trough the halls, he found himself in the computer lab. He sat down by the window and admired the blue sky for a few minutes. Taking a hair tie from his wrist that still had red marks from a few days earlier he but his hair up and desided to take a nap. Ocasionally bushing back stray strands of hair he dosed off.

He woke to the sound of frantic typing. Someone was probably in a hurry to finish an assignment so he desided to keep sleeping. A few moments later he heard the printer next to him start. The first thing he noticed when he saw the paper was the name. Dear Evan Hansen. That was the boy stood by Jared before. The one staring at the ground.

Connor grabbed the paper when it finished and started walking to the other side of the lab. He noticed Evan immediately as he was the only other person there. Evan on the other hand hadn't noticed him. ''What happened to your arm?" he asked. It was supposed to be a friendly conversation starter but ended up a tad bitter. Evan yelped at the sudden sound. ''Oh, um, I f-fell out of a tree actually.'' he stuttered. ''You fell out of a tree?'' Connor laughed ''That's just the saddest fucking thing I've ever heard! Oh my god.'' Evan tried to laugh it of but was way too nervous to be there. Connor was scary and also very attractive in Evans opinion. True, he had a fat crush on Zoe...but he wasn't entierly straight. Mabey it was just the fact that they looked similar. You know...siblings and all. But Connor being there raised his anxiety considerably, which ever reason it may have been.

Connor looked at the boys cast and felt a tinge of pity for him. ''No one's signed your cast.'' Evan quickly clanced at his cast and said ''No, I know'' before going back to staring at the ground. ''I'll sign it.'' ''Oh, um...y-you don't have to.'' Connor scoffed a bit ''Do you have a sharpie?'' Evan turned to his bag a bit reluctantly and dug out the black sharpie his mom had shoved into his hand before school. He handed it to the other boy who yanked his broken arm towards him. Evan flinched at what Connor apologized under his breath. He looked as 'CONNOR' in big letters formed on his cast. ''There, now we can both pretend that we have friends'' Connor joked. ''G-good point. Thanks.'' Evan grabbed the marker and started to quickly walk towards the door when Connor stopped him. ''Is this yours? I found it on the printer. 'Dear Evan Hansen.' that's your name, right?'' He was holding out a piece of paper. It was Evans letter to himself that he needed to get to his therapist that afternoon.

He was completely terrified while responding '' Oh that's just a stupid, i-it's a paper I had to um to write for a um p-project.'' Connor turned the page towards himself '' 'Because there is Zoe... Is this about My SISTER?!'' That was stepping over the line. He new he wasn't liked at that school, hell maybe even town but to bring his sister into it was a bit too humiliating. Evans palms were sweatier than ever and he could barely think between the fear and embarrassment ''NO, n-not at all!'' he stuttered. ''You wrote this because you knew that I would find it!'' ''W-What'' ''YOU SAW THAT I WAS THE ONLY OTHER PERSON IN THE LAB, SO SO YOU WROTE THIS AND YOU PRINTED IT OUT, SO THAT I WOULD FIND IT!!!''

Evan didn't like it when people yelled. It reminded him of his childhood and his parents fighting when they thought he couldn't hear. He was fighting the tears with all his might ''W-What...Why would anyone d-do that?'' ''SO I COULD READ SOME CREEPY SHIT ABOUT MY SISTER AND FREAK OUT, RIGHT?'' Connor knew he wasn't really helping by doing exactly what they wanted but he was too far gone. Evan was obviously terrified and probably would never done such a thing...but Jared might have put him up to it. And Connor didn't really care at that point who he was yelling at. He was pissed. ''AND THEN YOU CAN TELL EVERYONE THAT I'M CRAZY, RIGHT??!'' He felt the rage build up with every word he said. ''N-no wait. I-I don't even, w-what??!'' He tried to protest before being cut of by a 'FUCK YOU' and Connor storming off with his paper. After trying to call after him he ended up curling up in a ball and having a pretty big panic attack until a teacher found him. Needless to say he didn't end up meeting with his therapist.

Hey, I have never written anything on here and if by some weird chance you stumbled upon this story then I hope you liked it. English is not my first language so sry for the mistakes. I don't know how many chapters there will be yet so we'll see. But I'll definitely write more. This chapter is mostly just from the musical it self so not much originality. But It'll change soon.

If you have anything to say about my writing then please do. I really need some feedback :^)
