I hadn't gone to the class yesterday, so I didnt know what to expect, mostly not to be late. But I was. When I made it to the class, the teacher gave me a look of what I assume was annoyance.

"You're late."

She said, as if I wouldn't have noticed.

"Yes, I'm aware."

I shot back, walking to an open seat near the back. She rolls her eyes as if no one saw her. I take a seat in a desk, theres someone with long, pink hair. He has a notebook sitting in front of him, that he occasionally writes something down in.

The teacher continues her lecture on greek mythology, I think. That's a lie, I definitely know, because while the teacher asks her questions, and waits for someone to raise their hand, everytime I whisper the answer to myself.

I hear someone clear their throat beside me, I look over, and then down to a notebook.

'Why wont you answer out loud if you know all the answers?'

The pink-haired guy next to me had written down, and rotated the notebook so I could read his question perfectly.

I searched my bag for a pen or something else to write with, without drawing any attention to myself. When I finally found my black pen, I wrote an answer back.

'I dont know the answers'

I heard him scoff before I had even written down my full answer.

'You obviously do, you've whispered every answer so far, under your breath, and all of them have been right.'

'No, I missed some'

When he doesn't immediately write back, I look up at his face to see a smug look of, 'go on, tell me.'

"I'm serious."

I spoke, while the teacher took a break to hand out a test.

"Really?"

He said, what does he even think he's doing?

"Of course, I messed up and said one dumb name instead of another."

He laughs a bit, then says;

"Hah, okay."

The teacher snatched up the notebook as he was reading it, looked to try and find something to read in front of the class, and she seemed disappointed when all there was in the notebook was notes from class and our new conversation.

She sets down white paper with a bunch of questions, all about dumb Greek mythology, good thing I knew an embarrassing amount of that garbage, and so she couldn't yell at me for not knowing things because I wasn't in class.
