Blossom's decision

Blossom. The leader of the Powerpuff Girls. Lost her powers..but how? This doesn't make any sense.

I was walking down the trail. It was the time of spring so there were a lot of cherry blossoms on the tree falling from the light blowing winds. I didn't want my brothers to see her come over so I told her to pick a spot we could meet up at. So she agreed and picked a spot that looked like we are probably going to have a picnic of some sort.

I was just crossing the street when a thought came to my head. I told that guy who was arguing with bloss that I'm her "boyfriend" in front of everyone.

I slapped my hand on my forehead, now everyone is going to think I'm dating her and my brothers are going to find out since the whole fight was probably recorded by stupid jerks who don't know how to mind there own business. I found the cherry blossom trail that she was talking about. I walked in and to be honest the cold breeze felt nice on my hair and face. I saw bloss sitting on one of the hills. She didn't notice me so I quietly came up to her and sat down beside her.

"Hey," I said

"AHHHH" she screamed. I guess she didn't know I came.

"Oh my god you scared me," she said laughing.

The way she was laughing and smiling made my heart skip a beat for a second. I've never felt this way before. The light wind blowing on her hair makes this feel even weirder.

"Earth to brick, hello?" blossom said trying to snap me out of my thoughts.

"Uhh-oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention.

After a few moments, her smile slowly faded.

" if you don't want to talk about I'm fine with tha-

"No it's ok, I mean I haven't told anyone and no one knows except my sisters"

She then explained that the professor died a year ago and she lost her powers while trying to save her sisters. Blossom found new people for years but they were all users and they just envied her, she now has trust issues when meeting new people.

I was a little surprised at how all this happened when I was gone. Apart from me felt guilty that she had to go through all that on her own. She finished explaining that Justin was also a player and used her so that he could become popular.

"I'm sorry," I said looking down.

"Sorry for what?" she said confused.

"That you had to go through all that"

She just smiled and said "It's alright"

There was a small silence but then she said "you know, about the boyfriend thing"

My eyes widened. I forgot about that.

"I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to embarrass you about it, It's just-

"It's okay, I've never really had someone stick up for me before," she said looking down.

"Oh," I said, a little concerned.

"Well it's kinda getting late I think we should be going"

"Oh ya"

"And before we go do you want to hang out at school you know, secretly?"

I looked at her and smiled.

"Hmmm let me think about that...."

"Please?"

"Fine, but only secretly."

"Deal," she said and then flew off.

I came home and didn't notice that I was smiling. Until Butch pointed it out.
