Whoop whoop we're done! Well, almost. I decided to give y'all some "behind the scenes" stuff about this li'l fic! (E/DS is just short for Extras/Deleted Scenes because I'm lazy [and I don't think it will fit])

Now, without further ado, here are the extras and deleted scenes...

Extras:

We Were Stars (And Now We're Nothing) was inspired by this:

I knew that I wanted to write something that used this somehow, and originally it was going to be an original work, but then I realized that it worked for Danger Days

I knew that I wanted to write something that used this somehow, and originally it was going to be an original work, but then I realized that it worked for Danger Days. And then it just grew from there, y'know what I mean?

The MCR reference in We Were Stars:
It was completely unplanned, but I kinda said it in my mind as a joke, and then I realized that it actually fit really well. So I put it in. If you didn't notice it... ok

Death Valley lyrics in We Lived For It:
This one was also unplanned. I was stuck around that point for a bit, and kinda got Death Valley stuck in my head for a bit. I then realized "hey, this is actually perfect" and decided to put the lyrics in. That section of Death Valley is one that hits me really hard, I have no idea why, and it honestly made me love the oneshot so much more because of the lyrics.

The end of We Lived For It:
So, near the end of We Lived For It, But Now We're Paying For It, I pretty much blanked. And then I remembered my "Angst Writing" playlist (yes, that's what it's called). And there's references to the songs that I was listening to sprinkled in along the Death Valley lyrics. (ie: "Some people lost the light behind their eyes.")

The end of We Lived For It (plot edition):
I didn't mean for y'all to think that Kobra had died, but... my writing took me there. It was fun to watch though because by that time I had already decided that I wanted Benzie to die (that sounds really weird but yeah)

We Are Nothing Without Mistakes:
The first title was The Tombstones Are Waiting, but I wanted to be ✨unique ✨so I changed it. The title is a lyric from the masterpiece known as Alive by Electric Century

What was Kobra whispering into Sandman's ear? (1)
Fun fact, I actually wrote it as a note before continuing onto the next bit. Kobra whispered: "Benzie can wait, we can't. I'm sorry Sandy, but we– I don't wanna lose you too."

What was Kobra whispering into Sandman's ear? (2)
"We'll let you talk."

The death of Dr. Benzedrine:
When I started writing this oneshot series, I thought it was going to be a simple oneshot about stars, but I kept adding to it. It kinda went from We Were Stars and then "Why not do this in Party/Ghoul's POV" and then "If I'm doing Party/Ghoul's, why not Kobra's as well." Near the end of writing We Were Stars, I wanted to incorporate the Bad Luck Beads somehow and kinda went "Kobra's going to Sandman, which means that Benzedrine's gonna be there... I should kill Benzedrine" Basically, it was just too good to pass up.
