I woke up the next morning still tired from the lack of sleep due to the nightmares. I got dressed into some clothes and made my way over to the door. I grabbed my wand on my way out and headed down stairs. When I got down there I saw Hermione reading a book at a table. I walked over and sat down in the chair next to her.
"Morning El!" She spoke in a happy tone. "Morning Mione" I replied in a tired voice. "Nightmares keep you up again?" She said with a concerned tone. "Yea luckily I was able to go back to sleep on my own" I replied. "Yeah That's good!" She said.
We sat at the table talking when Ron came down looking upset. Before we got a chance to ask what was wrong Ron started yelling at Hermione about how her cat was trying to eat scabbers. I was curiously watching them argue to see who would win when a sudden movement caught my attention. I looked over to where the movement came from only to be met with the famous Harry Potter's eyes.
"Harry!" I shouted with a smile on my face.
I got up from my seat and ran to hug him. When I reached him I gave him the biggest hug. We both started giggling as Ron and Hermione stopped arguing and made their way over to say hello to Harry.
"Harry!" said Hermione. She gave him a hug which he gladly returned.
Ron than snatched Harry out of Hermione's arms and started talking to him about Egypt. I'm not surprised leave it to Ron to brag about going places for summer. Molly saw Harry and gave him a big hug. We all sat down to eat breakfast. I noticed that Arthur pulled Harry aside and talk to him about something. I'm not sure what about though.
"Good Morning El" I heard Fred say. "Morning Fred" I replied turning my focus to him. "How did you sleep" he said as he sat down next to me. "Good" I said with a smile, but I could tell he knew I was lying.
We all talked about going back to school while eating breakfast. When we finished breakfast we packed all of our stuff. Once everybody had their stuff gathered we apparated to platform 9 3/4's. When we arrived all of us quickly made our way into the wall onto the the Hogwarts express platform. We were a little early so we stood around and talked for a little. I was messing around with Fred when I was suddenly tackled from behind.
"EL!!!" I heard onyx's voice squeak from behind me. "ONY!!!" I squealed back.
I turned around to hug her. We hugged for about a minute before letting go. We both walked off with each other while I told her about my summer. She said she didn't do much other than sit around. We were talking about the year ahead of us when my name was shouted from behind me. I turned around to see Enzo and Malfoy walking towards us.
"Enzo!" I excitedly said while running to give him a hug. "Hello again Eleanor" he said with a laugh. "Black" Malfoy said with a glare.
I didn't say anything back. I just flipped him off and walked back over to where the Weasley's were gathered. When I got there Fred threw an arm over me and I could've sworn I saw Malfoy roll his eyes. Harry and I started up a conversation just as the train pulled in. I said goodbye to my friends and headed over to the compartment where I usually sit with Enzo and the others. I sat down in the seat next to Onyx. Malfoy and Enzo made their way in followed by Blaise.
"Blaise!" I squealed getting up to give him a hug. "Hi El" he said while giving me a hug.
We sat down and started up a conversation while the train took off. I heard someone say my name so I looked up from the book I was reading.
"How's living with the dirty Weasley family?" Malfoy sneered. "It's quite well actually. It beats living with a family that is so stuck up and rude people only like them out fo fear." I shot back at him. "I honestly think I'd kill myself if I had to live with them." Malfoy said.
I was furious so I slammed my book on the ground and stormed out of the compartment. I heard them say a few things as I walked down the hallways of the train wiping away a few tears. I went over to where Hermione, Ron, and Harry were. When I got there I sat down next to Harry and laid my head on his shoulder. None of them asked what's wrong because they know it makes me more on edge. So they just brought up the school year again and we continued our conversation. We were all laughing at a joke Ron made when suddenly the train stopped.
"Why are we stopping? We can't be there yet" Hermione said. "What's goin on!" Ron said in a scared voice.
They continued to ramble on when everything started to get cold. The windows started to freeze over and I was getting scared.
"Guys I need to go make sure that m my other friends are ok" I said with panic in my voice.
I don't think they heard me because they continued to ramble and talk to each other about what was going on. I made my way back to the other compartment and threw the door open. Onyx let out a loud scream.
"Calm down it's just me" I said quietly. "Holy shit! You scared me!" Onyx said in a loud voice. " Sorry" I replied giving her a small smile.
Suddenly everything got even more cold and I started to feel light headed. I could see the horrified faces of my friends shortly before I passed out. —♧—♤—♧—♤—♧—♤—♧—♤—♧—♤—♧—♤—
