Hogwarts Return

I woke up to see Blaise reading my book I threw on the ground earlier when Draco was making comments about the Weasley's.

"It's a good book isn't it?" I said wincing because my head hurt. "El!" Blaise said in a happy tone. "How are you feeling?" He asked. " I have a bad headache but other than that I'm alright" I said sitting up. "Where are the others?" I asked. "They are getting their robes on." Blaise said. "Ok." I replied and rested my head against the window on the train.

I stared out the window replaying what had happened in my head. I couldn't remember anything up until me accidentally scaring Onyx. I lost my train of though when I heard the compartment train open. I lifted my head to see Draco walking in. He couldn't tell I was awake yet. So I closed my eyes and pretended I was asleep to avoid any snobby comments from him.

"Has she woken yet?" I heard Malfoy ask.

I guess Blaise saw that I was asleep again because he told Malfoy no. They began to talk about things that I couldn't quite understand because my thoughts were crowding my head. A few minutes later I got tired of pretending to be asleep. So I slowly got up forcing a yawning sound and pretended to be waking up.

"Oh look who decided to wake up." Malfoy said in a rude tone. "Damn I was hoping you'd stay asleep forever." He said with a smirk. "Shut your snobby ass up Malfoy!" I snapped at him.

I quickly stood up only to realize that was a mistake. I lost my balance and had to put my hand on the window to keep from falling. I heard Malfoy laugh so I glared at him. Once I regained my balance I walked out of the compartment and down the train to where the golden trio was. When I got there I opened to the door and walked in to see a professor talking to Harry.

"Eleanor! Are you alright! I heard you passed out!" Hermione said in a concerned voice as I sat next to Harry. "Yeah I'm alright Just a bad headache." I said in an assuring voice. "Here eat this it'll help." The professor said handing me a piece of chocolate. "Thank you!" I replied with a smile and ate the piece of chocolate.

With that he stood up said a few words to Harry and left. Harry slowly turned to me and we started talking about what had happened on the train. I decided to stay here for the rest of the train ride. A little while later we finally arrived at Hogwarts. We all stood up and made our way out of the train. When I got off I smiled seeing the big lit up castle. I heard Ron call my name. I looked towards him to see him motioning for me to follow them onto a boat. I quickly ran over to where they were and got on the boat. I saw Neville sitting with us as well.

"Hello Neville!" I said smiling. "Hello Eleanor how was your summer?" He asked in a sweet and curious voice. "Oh it was quite wonderful actually I got to go to Egypt!" I said in a exciting tone. " Oh yeah! Ron wrote to me about it!" He said. "Of course he did" I muttered under my breath.

The boat ride lasted a little while longer. When we got there, Fred came and helped me out of the boat. I said thank you and started walking towards the carriages. I got into a carriage with the same people I was in the boat with. We all started taking about how excited we were to be going back to Hogwarts.

Once we got to the castle I said goodbye to my friends and headed off to the Slytherin table where Onyx was saving me a seat. I sat down next to her and started a conversation. I was about to say something when Dumbledore said something to get everyone's attention especially mine.

"It's is no secret that a prisoner has escaped from Azkaban. We will be taking extra precautions to ensure all you are safe while here. With that being said I believe you all should know who the prisoner is that has escaped. Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban. We are unsure of his whereabouts at this time. But I assure you everything will be completely normal and safe this year at Hogwarts. We have dementors patrolling the castle for extra safety. But you do not need to worry about them because they are giving strict orders to not go near any of you. Now enough with the serious stuff. Let's feast!"

The room grew louder as people started chatting and feasting on the food. However I stayed silent, and so did the people near me. It was no secret that my father was Sirius Black. Everyone knew this. But now how am I supposed to cope with knowing my father is out of prison and is wanted. I began to silently panic.

"Are you ok El?" Onyx spoke softly.
"Yes I'm ok. Let's just eat." I replied hiding the panic in my voice.

Eventually the awkward silence went away as my friends engaged in conversation with one another. I just stayed silent picking at my food but not daring to eat a single bite of it.

"I hope they catch Black and let us watch the dementors suck the souls out of him." Malfoy says loudly.
"Malfoy shut up man. That's Els dad you're talking about mate." Enzo barks at him.

At that point I couldn't take it anymore. I quickly got up and rushed out of the great hall. I ran I to the bathroom and into the nearest stall and threw up. It felt never ending. As soon as I was done throwing up and leaned my back against the stall and sobbed. Not giving two shits if anybody could hear me. My first day back to Hogwarts and I already want to be home. I can already tell this is going to be a very long year. Now on top of everything I have to figure out a way to communicate with my wanted father.
