Nicole couldn't believe what was happening right now she was shocked !

Nikki: John what kind of girl do you think I am ? Paying me to let you date me ? See you say you want to prove me wrong yet here you are like another spoiled daddy's boy trying to buy your way into my heart how am I supposed to even think you want to take me seriously if you think you can buy me ?
John: No Nicole look this is how I see it ! I'll pay Bries medical bills of you let me take you out and let you get to see the real me the me that only Randy knows ! Give me the change to make you fall in love with me ! Because I honestly like you I've never felt like this about anyone and I don't even know you that well ! Look think about it and let me know.......

Later that night !

Nicole was up half of the night watching Brie sleep and also just thinking about what John had offered her ! She didn't know wether to feel offended or flattered ? She was so confused she didn't know what to do ! She wanted to say no because she doesn't like him she can't imagine having to kiss him or even pretend to like him ! But on the other hand it's for Brie ! It's not for her or even for him it's all for Brie ! She kept thinking about what she should do when Brie woke up !

Brie: Nicole ?
Nikki: Yeah I'm here what's wrong ?
Brie: Nothing I just want to know something !
Nikki: What is it ?
Brie: I'm going to be okay right ? I'm going to be back to normal in a month like last time and I'll get to cheer Randy we get to ask me out and I will say yes and be happy and I'll get to go to prom ? Everything will be okay right ?

She asked and in that moment Nicole knew exactly what to do !

Nikki: Yes Brie you will be I promise now come on get some rest !
Brie: Sleep with me ? Like old times ?

Nikki smiled and nodded she got into the bed with Brie and they fell asleep !

The next day Randy and John came to see her ! Nicole allowed Randy to go in alone so they could have a moment and so John and Nicole could talk !

Nikki: I've thought about what you said or well offered me !
John: And what's the answer ?
Nikki: The answer is yes !
John: Really ?
Nikki: Don't flatter yourself this isn't for you or for me this is for Brie I can't stand to see her like this ! I'd do anything for her !
John: Okay then great your my new girlfriend !
Nikki: In public and please wait until Brie is back in school ? Please !
John: Fine !
Nikki: Thank you !
John: No thank you ! Now if you will excuse me I'm going to go tell the doctor to give Brie everything and anything that needs to be done and to charge me for it !
Nikki: Thank you !
John: No need baby !

Nikki rolled her eyes and sat down on a chair !

John: You're not going inside ?
Nikki: No I want Brie and Randy to spend sometime together so I'll wait out here for a while !
John: Okay I'll be back !

As he walked away Kelly came and sat down next to Nicole !

Kelly: Hey how is she ?
Nikki: Right now she should be super happy ! She's alone with Randy !
Kelly: No the best way to be alone with a guy but still alone haha !
Nikki: Yeah !
Kelly: How are you holding up ?
Nikki: I'm okay ! I told my mom to calm down and stay with my Nanna and that I would fill her in on anything !
Kelly: How long is she down there for ?
Nikki: Probably until we graduate high school and move down there !
Kelly: You guys are living alone ?
Nikki: Yeah honestly it's better that way my mom takes care of my Nanna and I take care of Brie !
Kelly: But who's taking care of you ?

John then sat next to her and put his arm around her !

John: I am right Nicole ?
Nikki: Yup that's right !

She said sounding annoyed and he just pulled her on close !

John: You look tired !
Nikki: I am I couldn't sleep half of the night then Brie woke up and we talked for a while then we fell asleep but that was only for like 3 hours !
John: Here lay your head on my lap and take a nap !
Nikki: But Brie....
Kelly: Is with Randy and we're here so don't worry we will wake you up if anything happens !
Nikki: Okay thanks !

She falls asleep instantly and John just watches as she sleeps !

Kelly: Okay I'm going, tell Nicole to call me if she needs me !
John: I will thanks for coming !

She nodded and left !

Hours laters

Nicole woke up and she noticed she was in a bed with John sleeping on a chair next to her !

She gently nudged him and he smiled when he saw her !

Nikki: What time is it ?
John: 10 !
Nikki: In the night ?
John: Actually no it's Saturday ! 10 am.
Nikki: I slept for an entire day ?
John: Yeah one of the doctors is friends with my dad and he saw me here with you in my arms and told me you could sleep in here ! Oh and before you say anything Brie is fine ! I kept checking up on her and Randy is with her !
Nikki: Wow I can't believe I slept through a whole day !
John: Yeah and I'm happy you woke up Brie will go into surgery tonight and be in recovery all day tomorrow ! All covered for even all the medication she needs !

Nikki nods

Nikki: Thank you !
John: No problem !
Nikki: So...
John: So what ?
Nikki: When's our first date ?

John smiled and held her hand !

John: You'll have to wait and see........
