What did you say..?

(I apologize for taking so long to write, i've been having trouble in school and i've just been really busy.. I'll try to update as soon as i can!)

Kou's POV

"..w-what did you say?" I asked, feeling my cheeks begin to burn darkly, thoughts racing through my mind. Maybe I was overreacting, but people don't usually blurt something like that out, do they..? Oh, this made my heart race so fast, I felt like my face was on fire. I looked over at the shorter male, expecting an answer.

He looked at me with a dark blush covering his cheeks, "..did I say that out loud..? oh, dear.. I'm sorry, ah," he looked down, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. It went silent for a few minutes after that before I decided to clear the air.

"..y-you think i'm cute?" i breathed out, feeling a small smile pull at my lips before my eyes widened, "ah! we should continue, shouldn't w-" I was cut off by the ringing of the bell, sighing in frustration. "..we can continue later!" I mumble before picking up my stuff and rushing to the door, not even giving the shorter male enough time to respond. I rush downstairs and down the hall, trying to make it in time for class. Does Hanako really think that way of me..? Am I really falling for a ghost? . . Teru would be so disappointed. My thoughts are interrupted by the second bell, groaning, I quietly enter the class room and slowly walk over to my desk, setting my stuff down and waiting. 

The entire time I couldn't get my mind off of what happened, I didn't even realize the bell went off for last period until someone poked me to get my attention. I pick my stuff up and rush out of class, bumping into someone on my way out with a small gasp, looking up to see my brother.

"The smell of that aparition is on you, were you hanging out with him?" He asked, my immediate response is to shake my head. "Hm, Kou, you do know you're breaking family tradition by doing this, correct?" He glared, making my blood run cold, "He isn't as bad as the other aparitions!" I protest, furrowing my brows. He glared, "I'm going to give you one last chance, if you can't succeed in sealing him away, then i'll do it myself. Now get to class, you can't afford to fail this year." He threatened before walking past me, leaving me there frozen. I couldn't allow him to seal Hanako away, I have to prevent that from happening somehow. I shake my thoughts off and head to class.


Hanako

I could feel my cheeks and tips of my ears warm up as I watch the taller boy leave, frowning slightly. Even though it had only been a few minutes, I had already missed him. I sigh and pick at the ground below me, wondering what I should do while I wait for either Yashiro or him to return. A sudden shiver washed over me as I felt a hand grab my shoulder, my eyes widening as I turn to see who was there. It wasn't a nice presence, I knew it wasn't the two, or any other mystery. I hear a small giggle, whimpering as I try to pull away, only to be stopped by a hand grabbing at the collar of my uniform. "..big brother~ oh, it's so nice to see you, hmm?" The bitter tone in his voice make my nose wrinkle up and my body begin to tremble, I hated that voice. "..oh..? Was I interrupting your thoughts?" I could feel him grin against my neck, feeling his grip tighten.
