Here our dear readers, we find ourselves in the most exciting, thrilling, devastating moments for our characters in this tale. For it is the season for all young ladies at the ages of sixteen to eighteen years old were sent to great the Queen. Their first moment within society.

    Here in London, these young girls are sent to have their entire lives reduced down to just one single moment. Here in the Bridgerton home, we find Daphne the eldest of three daughters preparing to meet the Queen with her corsets being tied almost too tight.

    As well as the three young ladies whom find themselves in the Featherington home preparing as well; Prudence, Phillipa and Penelope Featherington.

    Across from the Featheringon home, a few miles down we find however, the Sloehigh's daughter, Ester eagerly jumping into the family carriage with her mother. Her elegant white gown already upon her. Lady Jilliana Sloehigh was a rather dear friend of Lady Violet Bridgerton. Together the two families were close friends, with Daphne and Ester close as well.

    But in a society like this one, with overbearing mothers, too long bothered fathers and scandals at every corner, friendships can be easily mislead or destroyed.

    So, dear reader, I ,Lady Whistledown shall be there to record all these entrancing tales. Who am I? You may ask, however it is a secret I'll never tell. Who will the lovely Daphne Bridgerton find herself with? Who will the intelligent Ester Sloehigh manage to ensnare. All is fair in Secrets and Scandals.
