Chapter 11

Tessa POV:

i was still stuck in this stupid antique shop. its been a week. ive been trying some way possible to reach pan but its literally impossible.

the antique shop door opened sending the little bell ringing. 

i jumped off the couch and ran into the other room hoping to see someone other than rumple. it was just rumple. 

"oh its you" i said disappointed

"you don't sound that happy to see me dearie" rumple said smiling evilly

"its because I'm not" i said slumping back down on the bed or couch or whatever i've been sleeping on for a week.

"rumple please i beg of you! please let me go out into Storybrooke and do something. you said it yourself! there is no way possible for me to leave!" i pleaded

"fine you can but you have to be back here," rumple started "by night fall" 

"yay!" i squealed and ran out the door.

i turned right, i had no idea where i was going but i guess that's part of exploring.

after walking for a while i came upon a little diner named 'Granny's Diner'. 

i was quite famished so i decided to go in.

i sat down on one of the bar stools and ordered a coffee when i saw Henry sitting a few seats away from me with his head buried in a huge brown book

"whatcha reading there?" i asked him taking a sip of my coffee

Henry looked up at me frightened "oh nothing"

"Henry there's no need to be afraid of me. I'm not gonna hurt you!" i said moving over a seat to sit next to him

Henry quickly shut the book and put it in his backpack

"i know you wont hurt me but i cant trust you. your pan's girlfriend" he said

"yes i am but there is no possible way for me to even reach him at the moment so I'm completely trustworthy" i said taking another sip of the scorching bitter coffee

he gave me an uneasy look

"okay....well, what can i do to earn your trust?" i asked

he thought for a minute and finally looked at me "you can meet my mom."

"what?" i asked "i thought you were gonna say 'go on some special mission or adventure'" 

"no all you have to do to earn my trust is meet my mom" he said

"wait, Emma? cause i've already met her one too many times" i whispered the last part

"no not Emma my other mom, Regina"

"sounds good to me kid, when should i meet her?" i asked

"tomorrow. meet me here and ill take you to our house." 

and with that Henry left the diner. huh, what a strange kid.

i walked to the diner where i was gonna meet Henry.

i didn't even have time to enter the diner when Henry called my name

"Tessa! over here!" 

i turned my head to see Henry waiting for me outside

i walked over to him and we started walking to his house

we arrived at his house and his house was huge. it was painted completely white and the inside looked magnificent.

"you can come in" Henry said as i hesitated

i nodded and walked in.

"my moms in the kitchen you can go say hi to her while i go get something"

i nodded once more and walked in the direction i thought the kitchen was in.

"um, hi Regina right?" i asked the lady with jet black hair 

she laughed "yeah that's me." shaking my hand "and you are?"

"Tessa." i smiled

she all the sudden started looking at me strangely.

"everything all right?" i asked her

"yeah, just....its silly." she said waving the thought off

"no tell me!" i exclaimed

"well, something about you just looks oddly.....familiar....but its nothing" 

"oohhh" i said 

"here i made an apple pie. i grow my apples in my back yard so i hope its delicious" she said handing me a slice

i took a bite and it tasted like heaven on a plate. 

she laughed at my reaction

just then Henry walked in

"oh Henry nice of you to join us" Regina laughed

Regina handed Henry a slice as well

"so Regina i actually have a few questions." i said

she nodded 

"well, what kind of 'mystical' creature are you?" i asked to the quotation marks with my fingers over mystical

she laughed "oh I'm the evil queen" she said

i tensed up "oh no! but there's no need to be frightened. I'm perfectly harmless" she said

i laughed it off.

we finished pretty much the whole pie and it was starting to get dark. 

"i should probably get back, rumple doesn't like me to be out after dark" i said getting up from my seat at the table

"okay, thanks for coming. come back anytime!" Regina said

"bye Tessa!" Henry said as i shut the door

"bye!"

as i walked home i just couldn't shake off the fact that Regina said i looked familiar to her. oh whatever, im sure it was just a misunderstanding. right now i need to be focused on how to get back to pan.
