"Tessa! lets go swimming!" pan said excitedly.
i looked up from my book annoyed. this had been the 5th time he had interrupted my reading time.
"fine if you promise me at least an hour that i get to read in silence tonight" i compromised
"promise babe" pan said kissing my neck
i grinned and ran up the stairs to put my bathing suit on. i slipped on my blue bikini and met pan outside. we walked to the beach and i layed my towel down in the sand, laying out in the warm sun. pan immediately went for the water, begging for me to get it.
"come on Tessa! don't be a bore!" he pleaded
"no pan! its cold!" i complained
"well if your not gonna come in willingly i'll just have to force you" then pan picked me up bridal style and threw me into the ocean
"ahhh!" i screamed as my body hit the icy cold waves
"you ass!" i yelled as i resurfaced
he laughed and swam over to me kissing me.
the kiss grew deeper and it turned into a full on make out session
then a voice was cleared "hmm sir one of the lost boys is hurt" said Felix
"what? how?" i asked
"we don't know but we need you two now" Felix said disappearing back into the wood
we wrapped towels around each other and ran towards the camp. we arrived at the camp and Nibs was lying on the ground, crying in pain, and holding is left leg.
"what happened?!" i asked as i bent down towards nibs
"i...i tripped" nibs said threw sobs
i looked at pan behind me, him thinking the exact same thing i was. he's lying.
"okay nibs can you stand on it?" i asked
nibs shook his head
"okay what about if i put pressure on it. does that hurt?"
nibs shouted out in pain.
"okay i think its broken. we're gonna need to wrap this up and your gonna need to stay off of it for a while." i said
nibs nodded and i ran to get the wrapping
i wrapped nibs leg up from ankle to high thigh and Felix carried him to his hut letting him lie down for the rest of the day.
i walked back to pan and gave him a nod knowing we were both thinking the exact same thing
"BOYS! gather round! who knows what ACTUALLY happened to nibs?" pan yelled
no one moved
"we both know he's lying. step up and tell us the truth!" i yelled
Lester stepped forwards "i saw him go to the mermaid lagoon and then he came back hurt" he whispered
pan raised an eyebrow.
"okay that will be all!" he screamed
the lost boys separated and went back to doing what they were doing before
"pan what do you thin-"
pan shoved past me and stomped in the direction of the mermaid lagoon
"what the hell?" i whispered
i followed him and we arrived at the mermaid lagoon
pan reached down to the water, splashing it.
a mermaid with brown hair and gray eyes emerged from the water
"i thought we had a deal!" pan yelled at the mermaid
"yeah but that was sooooooo long ago" the mermaid said in a valley girl voice
"who's she?" the mermaid asked pointing to me and smirking
"none of your business."
"look our deal is up. you showed weakness and so now the deal is broken!" the mermaid said twirling her hair
"when did i show weakness?!" pan yelled
"the other night. you were crying over Wendy. tsk tsk such a shame. she was quite a nice girl..." the mermaid said
"ugh! if you ever touch one of my lost boys again i will kill you and your entire species!" pan threatened
the mermaid laughed coldly "that will NEVER happen. you're scared of us! we could kill you in an instant!" the mermaid claimed
pan grabbed the mermaid by the neck chocking her "YOU LISTEN HERE. YOU NEVER TOUCH MY LOST BOYS OR MY GIRLFRIEND EVER OR ELSE YOU BITCH!" he screamed and let the mermaid drop back into the water
"oh so she's your girlfriend" the mermaid smirked
"n..no she isn't. Tessa leave." pan said turning to me
"no." i said
"leave NOW!" he screamed
i turned on my heels and left running back to me and pans hut.
pan didn't come back home for another 2 to 3 hours after the encounter with the mermaids. i dont know why but i planned on finding out.
"what the hell was that back there?!" i yelled as pan walked through the door
"not. now." pan demanded
"no! you will tell me!" i said shoving him against the wall
he smirked "fine i'll tell you."
"years ago i made a deal with the mermaids. that they wouldn't hurt the lost boys and i wouldn't hurt them. those mermaids are dangerous creatures. that's why i made you leave. they found out you were my girlfriend, the mermaids get somewhat......jealous." he said
"oh"
"and you need to stay away from that lagoon what ever you do!" pan said
"pan your scaring me." i said
"look i wont let anything happen to you." pan reassured holding me tight
we fell asleep snuggling on the couch that night.
