Chapter 14

i sat in the town library reading a book called The Great Gatsby. it was really an extraordinary book. but every time i flipped a page i found my mind wondering on pan. on his beautiful features, and strong body, his sweet and caring mind, but dangerous demeanor. oh how i missed him so much.

yes, i would have left earlier but one, rumple hasn't left me alone. he was literally in this library talking to the woman over the counter. and two i don't know if I'm ready to leave my mom yet or Henry.

i had been at their house everyday for the past week, only leaving to go back to rumple's shop to sleep.

i needed rumple to have a distraction so i could slip away and go to neverland. what kind of distraction though?

i remembered the note i found on his desk a little over a month ago about his dagger. it was signed by someone named belle. i need to find her. maybe they can go on a lunch date or something, giving me just enough time to leave. i'll ask mom about it.

i walked to the library door barely having time to push it open before rumple stopped me

"and where do you think your going dearie?" he asked

"to my mom's house" i said with a kind of 'duh' look on my face

"fine, but you know your curfew"

"yeah yeah i know" i said leaving the library

i turned right and headed for Henry and my moms house

"so mom who's belle?" i asked as i took a sip of the tea she had made for me

"why do you ask?" she said

"well, i found this note from her to rumple in his office and i was just wondering who she was" 

"oh well she owns the library down town and she and rumple have had a thing for years now" she said making herself a cup of tea

"well, the real reason i wanted to know is because i need a distraction for rumple. he only lets me out of his sight when i come to your house and i need to get back to neverland soon!" i said

"i know honey. just make sure your careful and that you come visit me a lot!" she said

"is this a goodbye?" i asked

"yes, i believe that you will be leaving soon and i didn't want you to leave without me being able to say a proper goodbye" she said

"well mom, don't worry i will be back here visiting you and Henry as many times as possible" i said smiling

i could see the sun going down and knew i had to leave

"well i'll talk to you tomorrow mom" i said

"bye honey" she said from the kitchen as i shut the door

"will you ever leave me alone?" i asked rumple the next day

"no" he said

"look im just going to the library. no big deal" i said

"okay fine. but be back here in an hour" he said

i nodded and left. i needed to find this belle girl

i walked into the gigantic library and walked to the counter

"are you belle?" i asked a woman with brown hair

"i am" i could pick up a British accent

"well i need to speak with you...in private" i said leaning in a little closer

"who are you?" she asked

"you don't need to know" i said

"well i don't have a private room so your just gonna have to say it out here. i think there's only one other person here and he's in the back." she said

"okay fine." i looked into her eyes deeply using my magic to play with her brain

"you will ask rumple to go on a date tonight. do not take no for an answer. don't let him go back to the shop. have good sex at YOUR house and don't let him come back in the morning either." i said releasing my magic and letting the spell wash over her

she simply nodded and i left impressed with my work

"well Tessa I'm going out tonight, do not leave under any circumstances." rumple said

"ohhhh where ya going?" i asked pretending that i had no idea

"none of your business" he said

"well have fun and be safe kid" i said jokingly 

he laughed evilly and left the shop. 

i waited until i couldn't see his car anymore to grab the bracelet and the dagger and take off running for the ocean.

i was sprinting down the sidewalk and luckily it was night so no one was out.

i reached the ocean shore and put the dagger into the little purse i had on.

i slipped the bracelet on and immediately slammed on the hard ground, i groaned but realized i had grown a aqua blue tail. my upper half looking the same. i crawled into the water slowly letting myself adjust to the coldness.

i was finally fully under the water and it was pitch black. i could breathe under here but it was still pretty scary. i swam to a little glowing light thing that was at the bottom of the ocean.

i placed my hand on it and whispered "neverland"

the world i had been in for the last 3 months spun around and was replaced by the sun shining brightly threw the water

i swam to the surface seeing the island that i had missed so dearly. 

i slipped the bracelet off and my feet returned in their rightful place. 

i took off sprinting into the woods, since i had lived here before i knew exactly where i was going.

i found the camp and ran up hollering

"oh my god Tessa" Felix was the first one out. he ran up giving me a giant hug even though i was soaking wet

"hey Felix!" i said

all the lost boys ran up giving me individual hugs, when they were done i asked where pan was and felix said

"he's in his hut, he's not good." 

i climbed the ladder into the hut and found pan sitting on the couch. he looked pale and thin, like he hadn't eaten for months

"pan?" i asked with teary eyes

his head jerked to the side

"Tessa" he said crying

"yeah its me" i whispered

he ran up engulfing me in the biggest hug ever. i jumped on him straddling him kissing him so passionately

"you have no idea how much i missed you" i whispered after the kiss

"you have no idea how much i missed YOU!" he said

he walked us to our bedroom. he layed my on the bed taking in every particle of my body as if i was gonna disappear at any moment.

right then and there we didn't have sex. we made love.
