Liam's POV.
"Liam wake up!" A loud voice bellowed in my ear and I sprung up muttering. I turned to see Zak sitting with an innocent smile on his face.
"What's wrong?" I asked the younger boy. His smile just grew.
"Nothing it's christmas, come on!" He laughed tugging at my arm.
"Okay, okay, why don't you go get your mum and gran and let me get dressed" he nodded and ran from the room.
I got up and pulled on yesterday's sweats leaving the top half bare before leaving the room. I made my way down stairs, already I can hear laughter. That's a good sign.
Entering the living room I seen Zak handing out the gifts he bought to him mum and gran. I sat down on the arm chair with a yawn and felt Zak land on my lap.
"This is for you, it not much" he looked ashamed and my heart sank.
"Hey! I'll love it, you didn't have to get me anything" he blushed when I pecked his cheek. I tore the the paper off the crudely wrapped box.
Inside was a blue silk tie, cuff links and a small pen. In closer inspection I seen an engraving on the pen.
'Li + Ze'
I smiled, this was an amazing gift and from such an amazing boy.
"I love it" I pecked him on the cheek again "but you're gonna have to give me a hand if you want your present" I whispered in his ear. He nodded and we made our way out side.
We stamped through the snow to the boot of my car and I clicked it opened. I pulled out the huge wrapped parcel
"You get that end" Zak grabbed the other end of the box and helped me carry it inside.
"I really don't know what I was thinking" I huffed putting it on the floor. Zak looked at me with excitement and then the gift "go on then" I smiled.
He lunged at the paper tearing it to shreds the reveal fifty different coloured lids.
"Liam, it's sprays" he just stared at the cans.
"What is it dear?" His gran asked from the couch.
"Spray paints gran, for the back fence" he looked at me his eyes full of watery joy "thank you Liam" he bounced to his feet and engulfed me In a hug.
"Anything for my little artist" I patted his back as his heads rested in the crook of my neck.
"Anything at all"
