Liam's POV

I rolled over to an empty bed, I opened my eyes in search for Zak, he was no were to be found. I stretched and got out of bed heading down stairs.

"Zak you down here?" I yelled walking into the living room. My eyes fell on dawn and I felt the colour drain from my body. How was I going to explain this.

"Dawn, I-I-I..." I had nothing.

"Are you and Zak together?" She asked bluntly. So much for not telling anyone.

"What makes you think that?" I tried to lie.

"I seen you In bed together" he face was emotionless. I let out a deep sigh, no point in lying anymore.

"Yeah, we're dating" I sat beside her.

"Are you taking advantage of my son?" She asked. My head shot up to meet her angry eyes.

"Of course not" I wasn't, I really thing this could be more that a crush "I know it's weird with the age difference and the fact that I'm his teacher but I've never felt like this before dawn. It's only been a few hours but I really think this could turn into love" I admitted everything to her and every word was true.

"Look" I said after a moment silence "if your uncomfortable with this I can talk to Zak, I'm sure he'll under stand" she thought for a moment.

"No" she sighed "since you've came into his life I've seen a side of Zak I haven't seen in years -the good side- this may be selfish of me but I think you're the best chance I have of getting my baby back" her face change to the usual warm smile.

"Just don't hurt him" her eyes were pleading.

"That's the last thing I want to day" I gave her a comforting smile "where is he anyway?" I asked.

"Out back, we kind of had a fight" I sighed. Please don't start back tracking.

"I'll talk to him" I got up and walked to the back garden "Zak?" I called not seeing him. He came out from behind the sheet that was pinned across the garden.

"Liam, my mums gonna tell the school about us" he said and hugged me.

"Just calm down, I spoke with her and she's okay now" I hugged him tight.

"Really?" He smile a different smile than usual, it was genuine happiness.

"Really" I kissed his forehead "now watcha doing behind there" he looked at me uneasy.

"Promise you won't laugh" I nodded and he took me behind the sheet. It was beautiful. The fence between the shed and the side fence was full of purple, blue and pink painted city skyline with a large full moon behind it.

"This is what I do when ever I'm stressed it upset, but somehow still have anger issues" I dropped my arm around his shoulder.

"It's amazing! You're a very talented boy Zak" I smiled "I was thinking about getting something like this on my feature wall in my bed room, how would you like to do it?" His face filled with excitement but soon dropped.

"I only have this six pack of sprays and there almost finished, I've been trying to save up for the large fifty pack but everything I get close my vans run out and I get stressed" he sulked but gave me a good idea for Christmas.

"Well lets worry about that closer to the time, how about lunch" I smiled and he agreed "but first" I said and pulled down his sheet "I don't want you to hide your talents anymore" he flushed a bright red colour and we walked inside.

Walking into the living room I seen two woman sitting there now. Dawn and an older looked version of dawn.

"Gran?" Zak said surprised "what are you doing here?" He asked still in shock.

"Well hello to you to Zak darling" Zak snapped out of his trance and hugged the woman.

"Gran, this is Liam my..." He stopped and looked at me.

"Boyfriend" she finished off "your mother was just telling me all about him" she smiled warmly "I'm Katie, Zak's grandmother" I shook her hand.

"Pleased to meet you" I smiled back.

"So what are you doing here?" Zak asked as we all sat down.

"I'm here for Christmas, like every year" she smiled.

"Is it December" Zak blushed as we all nodded.

"Sure is and this year you have a strapping lad to share it with" I looked at him and winked causing him to bush even more.

"And I have a sweet hearted boy to share mines with"

I kissed him and he snuggled into my chest. This truly was going to be the best christmas ever.
