(Shelby POV):
As we were walking back from the lychee tree, I think Toni could tell how nervous I was. She reached for my hand and it fell into place like the last piece to a puzzle. A confusing and frustrating puzzle, but one that you frame because it's so beautiful you never want to forget it. For once in my life I felt complete.

A few minutes into our walk, Toni broke the silence, asking again if I was okay. "I'm the happiest I've ever been" I answered, staring at her caring eyes. She brushed my hair behind my ear and kissed my lips. She pulled away slowly and asked, "Will it scare you if I tell you how I feel?"
"No" I said.
"Are you sure?" she asked, looking up at my eyes so cute and genuine. I kissed her and smiled, "I'm sure."
"Shelby I, I really love you."
