It was a long time ago - around 4 years before now - that my little family was starting to tear apart. My Dad, who I hated back then, left for some 'important work' he had to do when I was 6. He said he'd come back in a year but didn't. He did the same the next year. I obviously didn't believe him but tried really hard to not think of the alternatives.
Anyway, the 3rd year, my Uncle selflessly stepped in to play the role of 'Dad' and he treated me just as he would have to a real daughter of his. Though, he died a year later in a tragic car accident.
You know, I always thought about what the real answer to his disappearance was. But, for some weird reason, I was even more curious. I thought it was all a big mystery just waiting to slowly be unravelled by me...
