Mom: I'm sorry I couldn't take care of you, or-
Aera: It's not your fault, it's mine..
(She looks up at me, tears pooling in her eyes as I gulp)
Aera: I loved my mother, and I just, didn't want a replacemen- I-I mean-
Mom: It's okay sweetheart, I get it
(She hold my hands, as I smile at the warmth)
*She reminds me of mum..*
Aera: I'll try to be more considerate from now on
(She chuckles, as she nods and opens her arms)
(I was pretty hesitant, but I gradually came closer to her, wrapping my arms around her)
Aera: (sniff) I-I'm sorry mom
(She tightens the hug, and rubs my back as I smile)
//2 days later//
(I was walking with Hye-jin talking about random stuff near my locker when I hear my name being called)
Jungkook: Hey kitty
(I shut my eyes and inhale deeply, turning around, looking at him with a sharp gaze)
Aera: Jeon Jungkook, how many times have I told you not to call m-
(My eyes slowly soften, as I gaze at the cast on his right hand)
Aera: What happened?
(I mumble, my gaze fixed on the cast, when he smiles)
Jungkook: I like you
Aera: You...you what!?
Jungkook: I like you
(He shrugs as I stare at him gobsmacked)
Aera: Is this some sort of pra-
Jungkook: No, it isn't, I like yo-
Aera: Okay stop saying that!
(Hye-jin was looking at Jungkook, with her jaw practically on the floor, while I blink twice and turn around leaving with her, not talking any further)
//time skip//
Aera: I hate summer school!
(I yelled in despair, as Hye-jin chuckles lowly beside me)
Hye-jin: Oh wait, about Jungkook-
Aera: I know you didn't tell him anything Hye, I trust you
*Buzz buzz*
(I groan and fish my phone out of my bag, looking at the notification)
Aera: Of course, it had to be him

Jeonbunny: Señorita!
Basicteen: Hey
Basicteen: Why'd you say you liked Aera this morning?
Jeonbunny: That's because I do like her
Basicteen: ....what
Basicteen: What about me?
[Seen]
*****
Aera: I ask him what the hell is going on and he puts me on seen!?
(I was clearly being dramatic, but at this point, I can't control my emotions that well)
*Why does the whole goddamn universe hate me so much!?*
(Suddenly, Hye-jin's phone rings as she takes it out and looks at the caller ID)
(I slightly peep into her phone too, it was her mom)
Hye-jin: Hello? Yeah? I'm with Kitty- but- Ugh fine, bye!
(She cuts the call and looks at me with a pouty face)
Aera: Let me guess, you have to leave because of some "urgent" work?
Hye-jin: Y-yes, I'm sorry Kitty, I promise I'll hangout with you later
(She hugs me and saunters away as I sigh and trudge towards my house)
Jungkook: Kitty!
Aera: Oh not him again!
