(Summer school finally came to an end)

(The day of the masquerade party had arrived pretty quickly)

(Now, I was getting ready to go to the party)

(I sigh and look at myself in the mirror, black attire and black lace mask)

(I fidget with my fingers nervously, thinking about the deal, when I hear loud squeals, making me flinch)

(It was Hye-jin, gazing at my whole attire in awe)

Aera: Uh, do you not know how to knock?

Hye-jin: I do actually, but I prefer not to, you look gorgeous by the way

Aera: thanks, you look good too

Hye-jin: I know I do

(I scoff at her confidence, when I hear my phone buzz)

Jeonbunny: Hey

Jeonbunny: You coming to the party right

Basicteen: Yes

Basicteen: I am coming

Jeonbunny: What about Aera?

Basicteen: For the 100th time

Basicteen: Yes

Basicteen: She is coming too

Jeonbunny: Great, just confirming

Jeonbunny: I'm gonna wear a red tuxedo by the way

(I groan, making my way downstairs as she follows behind)

Aera: Pfft, hah! What are you wearing?

(I laughed and pointed my finger at jin, while he huffs in disbelief)

Jin: Hun, this is called "fashion," you wouldn't get it anyway, jonnie would literally die in awe looking at me

Aera: don't know about the 'awe' part, but he would definitely die looking at that

(I deadpanned, while he rolled his eyes, the three of us going to Taehyung's house)

Aera: Damn..

(I said, walking towards Taehyung's mansion with Jin and Hye-jin)

Aera: Hye, are you sure you fell for him? Or do you just like him cause he's ri-

Hye-jin: Aera, I like him for who he is, I don't care if he is rich or poor

Aera: ...Wow, did not see that coming

(I chuckled, surprised at her statement, as we enter)

Jin: Joonie!

(He shouts as I close my ears in annoyance)

(Both of them hug and leave to the kitchen, as I see someone coming towards us with a big smile on his face)

(I understood it was Taehyung when he got closer to us, as I see Hye-jin evidently blush, even with the mask covering almost half her face)

Taehyung: You look beautiful

Aera: Oh my lord

(I grunt and roll my eyes, leaving the two love birds alone)

(I walk around, low-key trying not to get found by Jungkook)

(I take a glass of orange juice from the kitchen, drinking it up in one gulp)

(I trudge towards the balcony of the mansion, gazing at the scenery infront of me, when I feel someone hug me from behind)
