   after thinking about some stuff for a while, he eventually drifted off into a deep sleep.

   ni-ki woke up, as he heard an alarm and taki's yelling outside of his door.

   "YAH!! turn your stupid alarm off, would you?!?! its been ringing through my ears for like forever and i cant stand it!!!" taki said all the while slamming on the door.

   ni-ki turned the alarm off. "ahh, im sorry." he said as he sat up. he rubbed his eyes, as he made his way up to his door.

   only to be met with a grumpy taki. "you ruined my beauty sleep, thanks!" taki stomped on his way back to his room.

   ni-ki shrugged as he ran back to get his phone and made his way to the bathroom.

   ni-ki finished preparing himself for the morning, as he finally left the bathroom since he first entered it earlier.

taki laughed at his phone hysterically while he was eating some cereal. ni-ki began to chuckle. "whats so funny?" he asked him.

taki looked up. "oh, im just watching some funny videos to cheer me up because someone ruined my beauty sleep earlier - " taki said as he looked around the room as if there were anyone else besides ni-ki in there.

he finally looked to ni-ki. "yeah, obviously it was your stupid alarm." he bickered, watching his video. ni-ki made a (. ___.) face, as he went to go toast some waffles.

ni-ki finally spoke up, after just hearing taki laugh when he ate his waffles. "sooo... anything you wanna do today?" ni-ki asked as he awaited the olders answer.

"be away from you." taki told him as he continued eating his cereal. ni-ki pouted, as he ate the last of his waffle. "well... i guess two can play that game or whatever." he said as he walked back to his room quickly. he shut the door.

why was taki getting so mad at him? he thought. sleep is pretty important... but he maybe shouldve gotten over it by now?

ni-ki didnt know. he opened the door that lead to his small balcony, and lay back on the chair that was placed there. and today was the perfect weather to go out. sunny, with a nice breeze, just as the boys had liked.

but it seemed taki was too mad at ni-ki to want to do anything with him. it kind of made ni-ki sad, really. this was probably the first time his best friend was getting so heated at him, over such a small thing.

he started getting a little too comfortable, and eventually fell asleep on the deck chair.

fast forward a couple hours later, ni-ki woke up. the sun semmed that it was just about to be setting, as he rubbed his eyes and looked up at the peachy colored sky. he removed his phone from his pocket, as he grabbed his phone out to take a picture.

the best part about the balcony, was that the balcony had a great view of the sunsets and beaches, as they had lived quite higher up in their apartment complex to see it all.

this was one of ni-ki favorite things ever, mainly used to calm himself. however, all of his thoughts went away. he then smiled, for the first time that day actually.

as he was taking in the beautiful view, he heard a loud knock on his door. "nishi, are you okay in there? you didnt answer me earlier... maybe youre sleeping, right?" he heard taki from outside ask.

"im up now!!" ni-ki shouted loud enough for him to hear. "oh.. can i come in?" he asked.

"yeah." ni-ki said. taki barged in, as he shut his door and ran to him on the balcony. "so you were here the whole time?? wow." taki begun as he looked at the sky.

"i thought you were sleeping, but i just wanted to tell you that the sky looked quite pretty today.." taki scratched his neck while awkwardly chuckling. ni-ki laughed along, playfully punching his arm. "well, do you forgive me now or?" ni-ki asked.

"im sorry for upsetting you earlier, i know i ruined your beauty sleep but i didnt knownit would make you that mad." ni-ki explained.

"ehh, its nothing. im sorry if i made you feel sad earlier though.. you said 'two can play that game' earlier, and i kind of started to feel really really bad but i didnt know how to approach you the right way," taki told him.

ni-ki laughed. "well, its fine, i forgive you." ni-ki told him. taki smiled. "to be honest, it felt really weird to be away from you for so long. you're usually nagging me, you know?" taki shrugged. ni-ki rolled his eyes.

"i dont think you're thinking straight, because its really the other way around." ni-ki told him as they both began to laugh.

"well, what do you say we go order some takeout food and go to sleep after?" taki stretched his arms as he asked ni-ki.

ni-ki looked at the sun that was about to fully set, as he sighed. after a couple seconds, he looked up to taki and nodded. "sure, that sounds great, actually. and we do have school tomorrow again," ni-ki told him in agreement. taki sighed, as he forgot. "aw darn it!"

they smiled as they both left the balcony together, and they ended their night off with their takeout foods.
