"hey riki!? ....... NI-KI!!! NISHIMURA RIKI!!! HEY MR. NISHIMURA, WAKE UPPPP!!!" ta-ki's voice echoed faintly in ni-ki's ears.

"NI-KIIIIIIII~~!!!!" ta-ki's voice rang inside of ni-ki's ears, this time more audible than before.

ni-ki sat up, completely confused of what just happened. he looked up to see his housemate, ta-ki, standing in his door way.

".. did you have another weird dream??.." he heard ta-ki say, before he blanked out.

"what dream?" he asked ta-ki.

"uh why would i know? uhm you're sweating.. like quite a lot..?! wait uh- hold on.. YEAH WAIT ANYWAYS, uhhh get ready, sunoo's waiting for us at the bus stop!!!" ta-ki told ni-ki, as ta-ki quickly scurried to his room.

"sunoo?!" ni-ki asked out of surprise. ".. yeah??" ta-ki yelled confusedly from his room.

ta-ki ran back to ni-ki's room. "jesus, how bad was your dream??" ta-ki asked out of pure confusion. "please, did you dream that he died or something-!?" ta-ki jokingly asked him, as he started laughing.

he quickly stopped, when he saw ni-ki's blank expression. "yes.. but wait? he isn't dead then?" ni-ki asked.

ta-ki chuckled, "well, not from what i remember-" he cut himself off, remembering that they had limited time left. "-BUT!! HURRY UP, we'll be late!!" ta-ki scolded the younger for distracting him once again.

they both messily got themselves ready, and soon they were both eating some muffins together while taking the stairs down to the front of their apartment complex.

"so, tell me in this weird dream of yours? what even happened in it?" ta-ki asked the younger, taking a bite out of his muffin.

ni-ki stuffed the muffin in his mouth to his cheek, as he tried to sum it up to him. "this was probably the craziest one yet..? it was like a whole movie script or something, but sunoo was like.. trapped inside his house cause of his father or something and we were trying to save him." ni-ki told ta-ki, as they hurridly ran down the stairs.

out of breath, ni-ki almost stumbled down the stairs, but had caught himself. unfortunately, his muffin wasn't saved, but he picked it up as they were now at the front of their apartment.

he tossed it in the trash, as ta-ki and him speed walked to the bus stop, laughing and racing as both of them had almost fell countless times.

ni-ki was happy right now, and the only thing that was filling his mind was seeing sunoo again after what had felt like a long time.

ta-ki and ni-ki got to the bus stop, as they were both laughing out. they didn't even notice the few people in front of them, as they heard some familiar voices talking in front of them.

"we waited for 30 whole minutes for you guys.. the bus is long gone?? uh anyways, what's up with you two?" geonu asked them, chuckling.

"you guys look like you're about to pass out?" daniel giggled at them.

"oh my, please don't tell me you're both sugar high." jungwon closed his eyes, praying.

and finally, "oh, hey guys!" sunoo's voice was heard. ni-ki's head darted up.

his heart started beating fast, as he saw sunoo again.

the four other boys noticed this, as ta-ki and daniel ran, and geonu took jungwon's hand in his. "hey, we're gonna leave you two love birds alone!!" they said, giggling and running away.

ni-ki and sunoo blushed, as they looked at each other again.

for some reason, tears started forming in ni-ki's eyes. "hey.. why are you crying??" sunoo chuckled, wiping ni-ki's tears.

"i had a scary dream.. but i won't tell you, i don't wanna scare you." ni-ki told him.

sunoo smiled, as ni-ki's heart skipped a beat once again.

"i also have something to tell you!! before it's too late maybe," ni-ki brought up.

sunoo nodded, "and what's that?"

ni-ki cleared his throat, as he went on. "this is literally gonna sound so cringey, but these past days i guess you've just been making my heart beat a lot? and i've also been thinking about you frequently.. i think, that's a sign that i like you?" ni-ki told him.

sunoo's smile quickly got wiped off of his face. "DANG IT!!" sunoo pouted.

"i was supposed to tell you first.. i mean but it's okay haha,, i'm just glad i didn't get rejected?? AND, i like you as well." sunoo clapped.

"EEEEE, does this mean a happy ending for us!?" sunoo squealed, as he grabbed ni-ki's hands and started jumping up and down.

ni-ki smiled. "it does."

"WAIT!" ni-ki yelled, as sunoo stopped jumping.

".. what is it?" sunoo asked, as ni-ki's reaction had come out of no where.

"we'll probably be pretty late for school, but~~.." ni-ki stopped mid-sentence, making his lips into a thin line. he thought for a moment, and then..

he bent down to sunoo's height, and placed a small peck onto sunoo's lips.

sunoo was shocked, as he stepped back. he had literally stopped functioning, as he blinked a couple times. "DID YOU JUST- ?? YOU DID. YOU-" sunoo surprisedly blurted out to the younger, as he got interrupted by ni-ki.

"AHH- we'll be late for school!!" ni-ki mischievously giggled to him. he had grabbed sunoo's hand as they ran together, trying to catch up with their long gone friend group.

they looked at each other and smiled, as some sort of burden had been lifted off the both of their shoulders because they had finally confessed.

they liked each other.

ni-ki was stunned, as he realized that they'd be seeing each other a lot from now on.. from today, tomorrow, the day after that, and for as long as they would live he hoped.

but for whatever path they chose from now on, and whatever happened to them on the way, in their world, it would always be a tall, cold looking boy, and his one & only smiling sunshine.
