"...a door with chains on it?"
they all looked at daniel in horror, as he seemed to be looking down the hall. they looked back down the hall, as they now saw a huge door chained up door.
without saying another worr, they all ran towards the door. "he has to be in here." ni-ki told them firmly. geonu nodded his head.
"how are we supposed to get these chains off??" daniel asked. they thought hard.. then heard someone scrambling up the stairs.
"not again.." ta-ki sighed as they ran into two rooms, with three boys in each group.
they heard the old man's foot steps running up the stairs and closer towards them as they heard a gunshot ring out as well.
"oh boys, wherr are you??!" he asked them, speaking and laughing with a maniacal tone.
tears shed down some of their eyes, as ni-ki gripped his bat tightly.
all they could feel was adrenaline in their bodies, as the foot steps only drew closer.
ni-ki stood up, prepared to wack the man in the face. geonu pulled in ni-ki to tell him to sit back down, but ni-ki wouldnt listen.
he promised that he wasn't gonna let anything bad happen to any of his friends.

for what had felt like a eternity, the old man came dadhing from the corner, as ni-ki swung like there was no tomorrow.
the man dropped the gun, as he held his nose in pain, blood going everywhere. geonu and ta-ki who were with ni-ki started attacking the man as well.
ni-ki picked the gun up. "STAY DOWN.." he warned the man, as ta-ki and geonu stood behind ni-ki.
"move any muscle at all.. and you're dead." ni-ki told the man. the man was angry, but put his hands in the hair, telling them he surrendered.
they still didn't trust him of course— not that easily. they slowly walked out, keeping their eyes on the man.
"jungwon, daniel!! come out now!!!" geonu told them as the two emerged from their room with tears in their eyes, as ta-ki played with the chains on the door.
".. give us the key." ni-ki told the man. "hand it over, and no one will be hurt." ni-ki told the man.
"i dont have one." the man replied, looking away from ni-ki.
ni-ki furrowed his eyebrows at him.
"you're lying, i know it. hand the key over or else i will shoot." ni-ki told him angrily.
the man gritted his teeth, as he took out the key and threw it at ni-ki's feet.
"jesus, thank you.." ni-ki sighed of relief, handing the key to ta-ki.
they all cheered, they were finally here and saving sunoo. but that when the man tried to take his attack on ni-ki.
he scratched ni-ki's free hand ( where the gun wasn't ) as ni-ki jumped back, clearly startled by the man's actions.
luckily, ni-ki had some fast reflexes— he looked towards the man, as a gunshot was heard throughout the whole house, along with the thump of the old man falling on the floor.
ni-ki covered his mouth as he started shaking.
did he, really.. kill someone right now??
he was shaken, as geonu pat his back in a way of comfort. "good riddance." geonu told him.
ni-ki then shrugged it off, as he looked back towards the door. ".. let's go save sunoo?" he asked geonu. geonu smiled, as he nodded.
"you three— stay out here and watch his body.. if he moves then hit him or something, okay?" geonu told them as they all gave a thumbs up.
ni-ki opened the door— that was, to a horrible scent. the next thing he saw made him start bawling.
"call 119." geonu ordered to the boys, as jungwon pulled out his phone and did so.
it was sunoo's body, surrounded by a huge puddle of blood. ni-ki could see a knife infront of the boy.. like he had only been killed a couple minutes prior to their arrival.
tears fell from his eyes, as he ran towards sunoo.
he cupped sunoo's face, but then they could see his phone,, which was opened on ni-ki's message.

"im sorry i couldn't show you all my charms. i regret everything so much. before im no longer here anymore, i would like you to know that i love you, literally to death. im so sorry i couldnt do more for our friendship or for what i wanted to turn into a relationship, but you mean the world to me. i hated everything in this world up until that one fateful day that i saw you.. i'll never forget it.. i can hear foot steps, dad is coming so if this doesn't get sent to you then?? i hope you see it and say you love me too, im sorr|" the message read, still unfinished.
ni-ki had now fully broken down. "this can't be.." he sobbed out, reading the unfinished message which was supposed to be sent over and over again.
but what could he do about it? it was too late to tell sunoo anything now.
ni-ki cried so hard, as geonu continually rubbed his back, him and the others crying together as well.
ni-ki was crying so much, and everything after that had seemed to become a blur...
and after what had felt like an eternity, and a huge nightmare, he heard a faint voice, someone was calling his name.
"hey riki!? ....... NI-KI!!! NISHIMURA RIKI!!! HEY MR. NISHIMURA, WAKE UPPPP!!!"
