Chapter 6

3rd Person POV:

"Bullshit. I'm hungry too, so why not just cook something for the both of us." He said stubbornly.
"Well I guess so." Deku said defeatedly. He knew he couldn't win.
"Good." He said smirking.

Deku's POV:

Walk towards the kitchen was quiet. Before I left I made sure I look presentable or 'ok'. We were both taking glances at each other, but he didn't say anything so neither did I.

The silence wasn't awkward or anything it was comfortable. I'm just feeling uneasy I thought he would at least ask me questions or something. I'm glad he didn't though I don't think I'll be able to handle it.

When we walked into the common room everyone came over. They looked worried and asked me if I was ok. Everyone was talking at once it was kinda overwhelming. I began to worry.

However I think Kacchan saw my face or understood so he yelled at everyone. He told them, "Shut the fuck up everyone! Can't you see Deku clearly doesn't want to talk to anyone right now?!."

That pretty much snapped everyone into their senses. They started to apologize and etc. I just told them it was fine and that I was just stressed from testing, and that I'm ok and that they don't need to worry about me.

I'm just really hungry. Kacchan's cooking sounds really good. His cooking is almost as good as Mom's cooking. Mom cooks the best, but I can't tell him that. I wonder how he would react or if he would agree with me. He always seemed like he loves her cooking.

"Hey Kacchan, what are you making?"
"Curry." He replied quickly.
"What?! But Kacchan your curry is too spicy! I can't eat it!" From a whining Deku.
"That's only because you can't handle spicy foods." Bakugo scoffed.
"I know! That's why I don't like them." Deku pouting and crossing his arms.
"Stop your whining! I'm making your batch first and then I'll make mine."
"You won't make it spicy?" Deku asked tilting his head with sparkles in his eyes.
"If I don't make it spicy will you stop your whining?!"
"Yes!"
"Then shut up."

3rd Person POV:

"What smells so good?" Sero asks walking into the kitchen along with the rest of the bakusquad.
"Mmmm. That smell delicious!" Denki says as he deeply inhales the aroma.
"Wait. Is Bakugo cooking?!" Mina asks yelling.
"Will you idiots shut up?! I'm cooking here!" Bakugo yells turning around.
"Aw. Bakubro don't be like that. We just want to know what you are cooking." Kirishima said cheerily.
"Curry. Now get out." Bakugo said coldly.
"Can we have some?!" The three of them said in unison.
"NO! This is only for me and Deku. We didn't have lunch so we're fucking starving." Bakugo sternly said rolling his eyes.
"Awwww. Come on man you gotta share. I mean I know you didn't have lunch, but what's the harm in sharing a little food." Denki was trying to convince Bakugo to give him some food because who would pass an opportunity for free food.

"You know what I might give you guys some food."
The three idiots looked at each other thinking they got lucky and hit the jackpot. However as soon as he said this a devilish plan popped in his head.
Smirking Bakugo raised his head and said, "Fine. If Deku wants to share his curry then I'll give you some of his, however if he doesn't want to share then you'll have to eat some of mine." He gestured his hand towards Deku and winked at him. Deku just smiled as he understood what the blonde was doing. The three were oblivious to the wink but still accepted. Either way they were going to get food. So it doesn't matter if for Deku or Bakugo. What they forgot though was that Bakugo liked his food spicy.

~time skip to when the food is done~

"Kacchan... My stomach is growling. When is the food done? I should be leaving soon. Maybe in 20 minutes I'll leave." Deku had his head down and was listening to Sero's and Denki's conversation, they were talking about having a guys night with everyone, Mina said she will do a girls night if they do a guys night. Kirishima thought they should do those later maybe next week or something, he suggested that they should play games the whole class like truth or dare, would you rather, and etc.

"Shit Nerd. Here. The foods done." As soon as he said that Deku's head shot up and his eyes sparkling.
"Thank you, Kacchan! This smells delicious!" Deku was looking and staring at the food before giving his thanks. He began to chow down the curry.

"Hey, Deku? How about you share some of your food your friend here?" Sero asked wriggling his eyebrow.
"Yeah! Could you share with us too?" Mina and Denki said excitedly in sync.
"What? No. Sorry. Kacchan made this for me so I am going to eat it all of it." The green boy replied with his mouth full.
"Hey you. Stop eating with your mouth full. That's fucking disgusting."
"Sorry." The boy muffled smiling.
"Hey, Bakubabe. I don't think Deku is going to share with us, so could we have some of yours?" Mina asked.
"I thought I told you NOT to call me that! But fine you can have some of mine." Pushing his plate towards the three after saying that Bakugo grinned and winked at Deku. Sero was the only person who caught it he thought something bad is going to happen, so he back out he didn't want to take any chances. Who knows that Bakugo put in there.

"Why does it smell spicy?" Denki asked after he smelled the plate.
"Because I like spicy food." Bakugo as if that was an obvious answer.
"OI Soy Sauce, didn't you want some? Here. I'm sharing." Bakugo said holding a spoon.
"Nah. I think I'm going to pass the rest of you guys can it." Sero smiled rubbing his head.
The others were okay with it since it meant more food for them.

Mina, Kirishima, and Denki all took a spoonful of curry despite the spicy smell to it. It was like they just ate lava. Their mouths were burning. Denki was screaming and yelling nonsense trying to scrape off any of the toxic substance in his mouth. Mina was sweating and crying about how it is. She also got her hands on milk that Deku brought out. Kirishima was trying to act cool even though everyone knew he wasn't. He also tried to extinguish the flames in his mouth with water. Bad idea. It only got worse. Kirishima and Mina were fighting to get milk. Denki started running around as if he could run the hotness off.

While all the chaos was happening Bakugo was laughing his ass off with his plate in front of him taking bites from it. Deku, sitting next to him, started laughing and struggling not to choke on his food. Sero was just stunned. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to laugh, but was curious about the taste and spice. He rationalized that he has a pretty decent tolerance for spicy food that he could take it.

His curiosity took the better of him. He took a small bite. It was hot. Really hot. He started sweating and could feel it in his stomach. He started looking at Bakugo and Deku. They were still laughing and looking at each other, but when both of them made eye contact with Sero, Deku choked on his food. Bakugo started to pat his back to make ease him a little.

~time skip to when they all calmed down~

"Well I think it's time for me to go. Bye guys! I'll see you Sunday!" Deku said heading to door waving to his classmates.
"Huh? Deku where are you going?" Uraraka asked sitting up from the couch.
"I'm just going to my mom's house for the weekend. I've been stressed lately with the testing and all, so I decided I need a brake. I already asked Mr. Aizawa and he approved of me going."
"Oh well bye Deku! Hope you have fun with your mom!" Uraraka cheerily said, smiling.

The class said their goodbyes and once Deku left the building getting into the car, Mina suggested that they investigate Deku's room. There were protests against doing that saying that it was 'not hero-like to go through a friends room without permission' or 'that it's rude and that we should respect his privacy'.

"Wait. Wait. What if we find out why Deku hasn't been himself lately? Or what if what we find in there we can figure out what happened today?" Mina said in a 'hear me out' kinda way.

This brought people to agree or say that if anything happens we're blaming you.

"Okay. So let's go see what's in Deku's room!" Mina said leading the way.

IM SO SORRY FOR A LONG UPDATE!
This chapter was more of a filler than I wanted it to be but it just happens. I wanted a good transition from the fight to the Diary itself without rushing it. I think I made it to long. I'll work and update the next chapter faster, hopefully, sorry yet again for the delay of updates.
