Suicide and self harm trigger warning. Do NOT read this chapter if you get triggered by those two things.

Xiaojun stuffed the USB into his bag, and then ran out into the corridors, trying to find locker 127. "127...127..." he ran over after seeing the number, and looked at the odd-looking lock, then realized he could insert the ring, and it fitted perfectly. He twisted the ring, and the lock opened. He quickly put the ring back on, then realized it was filled with presents.

Presents with labels on them. Hendery had bought enough presents until Dejun would turn 30. He had wrapped each present, and put a label on each of them. There were valentines day, christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation gifts, prom gifts, and Dejun felt his tears well up as he picked up a present with the label: "OPEN WHEN YOU SEE ME!"

He ripped the wrapping paper off, and glanced at the contents. It was a scrapbook. Somehow, Hendery had gotten pictures of every of their big moments, from when he pranked Dejun with the teddy bear, to the time he made Xiaojun dinner for the first time, to their first time watching a horror movie together, him kissing Dejun on the cheek, their linked hands, and then there were many photos of Xiaojun alone. Hendery had taken those god knows when, and there were paragraphs of writing next to the photos, from love confessions to poems to doodles, from things he had to do together with Dejun, everything he promised the older to how much he missed him.

Xiaojun couldn't even contain his tears when he looked at that scrapbook which Hendery had filled with their memories.

With that, he kneeled onto the floor, crying his eyes out as he asked the skies why Hendery had to forget him. He just went to the sick bay, and filed out a sick report, and left school early. Seeing how pale Dejun was, the nurse believed him and let him leave.

Xiaojun spent the afternoon going to all the places he had been to with Hendery before, and cried as he looked at the pictures. Why did it have to hurt so much, why did it hurt even more than when Hendery was dead? Xiaojun took out his pen, and scribbled on one of the empty pages in the scrapbook.

'The worst pain is when the one you love is right in front of you but he loves someone else.'

Dejun forced himself to go to the last place Hendery went with him. The amusement park. Hendery had bought him cotton candy, and teased him about being as sweet and as soft as the treat, ruffling his hair, and screamed alongside him as they went on the rollercoaster.

Xiaojun looked at the photo booth where they had taken their photos, and he automatically took out his wallet, looking at the photos of Hendery being an absolutely adorable crackhead.

He took out his glue stick, and stuck the photos onto the scrapbook, and scribbled down 'I LOVE YOU' in bold, and stuffed everything into his bag, heading towards the main street, waiting for a truck to drive by.

Hendery was sitting in starbucks, and everyone was waiting for Dejun to show up, but he never did, and all the calls they dialed were declined. Hendery furrowed his eyebrows, and the pain in his chest started again, and he nearly toppled over. The last time he felt this it was because of Dejun falling off the-

The drink in his hands was thrown onto the table, forgotten as Hendery charged out of the coffee shop, startling the two humans sitting there. "What the hell-" Ten stared at Hendery's empty seat.

"Do you think-" Lucas sighed. "I don't have to think. I know."

TRIGGER WARNING STARTS HERE. DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING PART IF YOU GET TRIGGERED BY SUICIDE ATTEMPTS.

Hendery didn't even care about how fast he was running, and he couldn't teleport because he didn't know where he was headed, he could only run towards where the pain in his chest was pulling him towards, and his mind was too scattered to let him teleport.

He caught sight of a boy walking towards the middle of the street, a truck spiralling towards him. Hendery ran, faster than he had ever before and shielded the boy in front of him, the truck slamming into him at full force, but he didn't budge, he dug his foot into the floor, and felt the impact break his ribs, but he didn't care about the pain. He could hear screams from the boy, but that only steeled his will even more.

The truck stopped, and Hendery was thrown back onto a sign, then crashed onto the floor. His neck was snapped, and blood trickled down from his forehead.

The truck driver ran out, and ran towards Hendery, then ran off quickly to call an ambulance. Hendery was muttering something which Dejun heard. "Lighthouse..." Hendery snapped his neck back into place, and forced himself up, healing his bones.

"Come on, lets go before the driver comes back.." Hendery muttered, grabbing Dejun's arm and teleported away. A few seconds later, they were on the roof of Hendery's house, and the prince collapsed onto a chair, healing his ribs.

"Why didn't you move?" He asked Dejun, glaring at the older. "That crash impact was quite enough to horribly wound you, even paralyze you for life, and with your vampire instincts you would have dodged easily and-" Hendery broke off, realizing what Xiaojun was actually trying to do. "Why the hell did you try and kill yourself?" he asked Dejun, and he could feel his blood boiling in anger.

"Why can't I?" Hendery forced himself up, ignoring the pain, and tried to face Dejun. "Because I care about you, pet." that sentence just came out of his mouth, so naturally but so weird to Hendery. He didn't even know what he was talking about. "Because I'm your lighthouse, because I swore I'd protect you forever, even if I don't know you."

"Because I'm your lighthouse.." and with that sentence, Hendery blacked out again, falling into Xiaojun's arms. Xiaojun felt the tears welling up, and he pulled Hendery into his embrace.

"How much do you love me to do this..."
