I FINALLY WROTE A WHOLESOME CHAPTER OMFG

Hendery woke up, fully healed, and this time Xiaojun was lying in his arms, and he was sleeping. The two of them had a blanket draped on them, and Hendery gently got up, making sure he wasn't going to wake Dejun, then went back downstairs.

"You're up." Xuxi was sitting on the bed, glancing at him. "What happened? When I got here you were covered in blood." "Got hit by a truck." Lucas stared at him for a while, then pushed him to sit down. "Sit down properly sir I need to check for bruises." he took a glass rod, and poked Hendery's arm. "Does that hurt?"

"No." he poked Hendery's legs. "No." Lucas gently poked Hendery's chest, earning a hiss from the prince. "Oh well, I'll get you an ice pack." Hendery pouted slightly. "But I want something else first!" Lucas turned back. "What do you wa-"

Hendery stood up on his tiptoes, and gently planted a kiss on Lucas's lips, making the giant smile and kiss him back. A few seconds later, they pulled apart, and Lucas went to get the ice pack. He soon came back with it, and pressed it onto Hendery's chest.

"When you say you got hit by a truck, let me guess. Dejun was going to get hit by a truck and you threw yourself in front of him." Hendery nodded, and glanced at the ceiling.

"You're not mad at me for ditching you there, right?" Lucas shook his head. "No, I'm not. I still have a heart and care about Dejun, you know." "Of course I do. You're too nice not to care about him." Lucas smiled slightly, and grabbed the first aid kit. "I'll go check Dejun for cuts and bruises." The vampire prince smiled, and kissed Lucas on the cheek. "You're too tall for me to kiss you without going on my tiptoes. Hmph."

Xuxi chuckled, ruffled the vampire's hair, and headed upstairs. "Dejun.." he muttered, gently tapping the vampire's shoulder. Dejun jumped up from his seat, hissing until he saw Lucas, and calmed down.

"Hey, calm down, it's just me. I'm here to check you for bruises, put your hands up." Lucas took the glass rod out, and poked Dejun's chest first, then his legs, and then he gently poked Xiaojun's right hand, earning a hiss from the vampire.

"It's always the hand or the chest." Lucas muttered, and tried to roll Xiaojun's sleeves up, but had a hard time with the non-elastic fabric, and groaned. "I'm sorry, but take your shirt off."

Xiaojun's face went red, and he stared at Lucas for a while, stammering. Lucas let out a laugh. "What do you think I am, a werewolf in heat? I just need to wrap your arm and check if you twisted or sprained it." "Oh.." Dejun muttered, taking off his shirt, and watched as Lucas handed the spot he had hurt with care.

"Does it still hurt?" Lucas asked, gently touching the spot. Xiaojun shook his head, and Lucas sighed, sitting down. "I'm sorry." Dejun stared at him, not understanding. "I know you love Hendery and I-" Xiaojun actually smiled, and hugged Lucas, knowing it wasn't his fault.

"Look, I don't know why Hendery lost his memories of me, but you used to love him and you basically helped him get together with me, and now I know how much it hurts when you're watching someone you love fall in love with someone else." Xiaojun's smile widened. "It's better than seeing him being with someone I don't like. So yeah, it'll hurt me, but I'll get over it, it's just I'm not ready to let go of him yet."

Lucas grinned right back at him. "You have your chance, Dejun. Everything is fair in this world. Before he becomes my boyfriend, you have a chance." Xiaojun laughed at how ridiculous this conversation was. "I don't get why people say friends can't fall in love with the same person. We seem to be doing just fine, don't we."

"As long as we agree we both have a chance and no hard feelings for whichever one he chooses." "Approved."

Hendery leaned against the rooftop door, glancing at the two of them.

"Well isn't this awkward and funny."

"I heard the entire conversation."
