At the Guardian Forces Headquarters.
Everything hurts. My outsides. My insides. What hurt most of all, was my heart. Aaron. Aaron. Aaron was all I could think of. He sacrificed himself so we could live. He never wanted to hurt anyone, he just wanted to keep us safe.
But no one understood that.
On Mystreet at Aaron's house.
It's been a month. I'm so confused. I'm so in pain. Where am I? Who am I? Why am I here? Who is this 'Mellisa' who claims to be my sister? Why don't I remember anything? Why am I blind?
Why do I feel like I lost something precious?
I have so many questions. But the questions can wait. I forgot everything except one. Shu. She was there when nobody else was. I only knew her online but she was still the only person I needed.
Then I thought of her. She said her name was Aphmau. That name sounds so familiar, yet so distant. It was a name I could feel bring me closer to unknown memories every time I thought it. Aphmau. Aphmau. Aphmau. Shu. Shu. Shu. For a month through all the pain and misery These two names brought me unknown happiness.
I wanted to know why. I wanted to remember. 'Whoever he ends up with, I hope he's happy with her' Those words echoed through my mind for months. Aphmau cared. She cared just like Shu. I may not remember much, but do remember feeling lonely. And then came the light of my life. Shu. I won't be able to play our game probably ever again. How am I going to tell her? Would she understand? Of course she would understand, she's Shu. but still...
Suddenly something flashed before my eyes.
"I'm coming"
And it disappeared.
I was so startled I fell out of my chair. What was that? A few seconds later I heard footsteps rushing towards me. Mellisa's footsteps no doubt. She had been my caretaker for months. When I was unable to do anything she helped me. She took me this far. Maybe she is really my sister. And if she is I feel so bad for her. I can't imagine anything worse than being forgotten by someone you love.
