Toby's P.O.V
3 months. It's been three whole months since the disaster. I guess that's what we're calling it now. Michael. A name I never wanted to hear again. And a name I hopefully never will (except other Michael's. Sorry, I wanted to cool the depressed atmosphere).
Aphmau has only healed slightly. From what I can tell, the immense amount of damage weakened her body to the extent she could die.
Die.
The guardian forces were her to stop that from happening. But now, all they did was make everyone more prone to death.
Another thing. The effects of the battle on Aphmau were drastic. No normal human, werewolf, or Meifwa could survive damage like that.
Which meant Aphmau was no normal human.
But how? Wouldn't Aphmau's mother know? Wouldn't anyone know? Aphmau claimed to not know herself. How could she have not known her own capabilities?
And who was that man? The man who knew Aphmau could handle the relics. The man that gave his life to keep our world safe.
World. He said that his family had given everything to protect this world. Did that mean he was from another world? An alien? No, he couldn't be an alien. He was a human but at the same time, not from our world.
Maybe, just maybe, he was from another realm. I had read about this once. A book my grandfather gave me when I was young. A book that was supposed to be used to gain knowledge about any threat that could use magic. It would make sense. That man seemed to know what Michael was planning. He tried to stop him from using the relics.
If he knew about the relics and that Aphmau could hold the relics, Then maybe Aphmau was from a different realm as well. No, that's not possible. There are government records of her birth. But at the same time, there weren't any government records of a Demon warlock. Maybe we can find out more.
There is hope.
Meanwhile, a dark figure lurked in the shadows, carefully watching Toby. He was fairly amused that he could understand this much. ' It's surprising he could figure out that much. Really now it's up to me to decide whether or not to show myself. Guess I do have to rely on my emotions.'
