Chloe is sitting at the kitchen table applying foundation on her face when Kev barges inside and looks at Chloe's face and swollen cheek and he approaches her and gently places his finger under her chin and inspects her bruised cheek and he asks "Princess, what happened? Who done this to you?" Aidan enters the kitchen and Chloe and Kev both look at Aidan and Chloe says "It happened at school Dad, I got into a fight" and Kev says "Then I'm gonna call the school and tell them to keep this girl away from you" Aidan interjects and says "I wouldn't do that if I was you" Kev looks to Aidan and asks annoyed "Excuse me?!" Aidan replies "Well you know what teenage girls are like...and besides you go running to that school its just gonna make things ten times worse for Chloe" and Chloe looks up at her Father and Kev rubs at the stubble on his chin and he says "Fine I'll drop it but Baby you gotta be careful" and Chloe nods and says "I will Dad, sorry for worrying you" and Kev says "Never apologise" as he kisses the top of her head and he says "C'mon Honey I'll give you a lift to school" and Chloe stands up as she picks up her school bag and looks at Aidan and she follows Kev out of the house.

At High School Chloe is walking through the busy hallway when a young boy around her age creeps behind her and gently grabs her startling Chloe and she jolts and turns around and relaxes when she sees the boy and says "Ky" and Kyle grins and wraps his arms around her and says "Heya Babe, missed me?" Chloe wraps her arms around his neck and says "You know it Babe" and they share a kiss.

After school Chloe and Kyle walk into 'The Jockey' holding hands when Lip who is sitting at the bar looks to the couple and shakes his head and Chloe says "Why don't you go sit down Babe, I'll get them in" and Kyle nods and kisses Chloe's cheek and walks towards a empty table for him and Chloe when Chloe walks towards the bar and says as she looks at Kev "Hi Dad, can I get two cola's and two packet of cheese and onion" and Kev nods as he goes to get Chloe's order. Lip looks to Chloe and says "Can we talk?" Chloe scoffs in disbelief and says "Why? You gonna accuse me of lying?" Lip rolls his eyes and says "Please Chlo, we gotta talk" Chloe says "Fine, just say what you gotta say!" Lip says "I worry for you, I never meant to upset you I swear, I'm sorry...please forgive me" and Chloe smiles and says "Fine you're forgiven Lippy" and Lip chuckles at the childhood name Chloe given him. Lip looks to Kyle who is sitting at a table and says "So, he's back then?" Chloe nods as Kev sets the two cold soft beverages down and Lip says "You know he wasn't at that fishing trip" and Chloe scoffs in disbelief and says "Don't start Lip, please" and Chloe picks up the cola drinks and walks away towards the table as Kyle grins. Lip props his elbow up on the bar counter and he shakes his head as he looks at Chloe and Kyle and says to Kev who is staring ahead "He's gonna hurt her" and Kev nods and says "I know but when that day comes I'll kill him".
