I woke up from my 5 mins rest as soon as I heard the door of my chamber being knocked...I gave permission to the person who knocked and my assistant Yuyi's face popped inside..

"Doc..You need to get ready for your OT..It'll be at 10 pm..."

I looked at my watch and it was 9.30 pm..I stood up from my chair and told her I'll start getting ready for the OT..

I groomed myself with the blue gown,mask and cap..Then another nurse helped me put my gloves on..We entered the OT and as the main surgeon I took the lead...About 2.30 hours the OT ended...I left the OT..When I went out of the theatre the family of the patient got me asking me about the patient's condition..

"The operation was a success..Your patient needs to rest now and he'll gain his sense in a few hour till than don't disturb him.."

" Thanks doctor..Thank you so much for saving my husband..We knew only you can save him..You are an angel..Thank you..Thank you.."

The last word I heard properly before leaving was ANGEL..Am I really one of them?? How can I??? If they knew what I did in the past they wouldn't even want to see my face let alone praise me..Thinking this and that I returned my chamber and took my belongings to leave the hospital..By leaving today I ended my 72 hours long shift...
