Josh's POV

"Still softish, you softish!" Bryce and I screamed along with our song that was blaring through the speakers.

The Hype House had called us up and asked to talk about the diss track we just dropped, so all 6 of us were crammed into one car headed over there.

The car's heater was turned on full blast as the air outside was surprisingly cold for LA.

Everyone had there cameras ready to record the confrontation that was about to go down and kept pointing them at me.

I was a little nervous about seeing Chase after calling him out, but my pride would never allow me to chicken out.

Jaden pulled into their driveway and parked the car, hopping out and following Bryce with a camera to record him.

One by one, everybody climbed out and started up the hill towards the front door, leaving me alone to contemplate for a bit.

Once I reassured myself, I made my way to the main entrance where Bryce was waiting for me to go in.

We greeted everyone with hugs and smiles, making small talk with our friends we hadn't seen in a while.

Chase was no where in sight and I started to feel more comfortable and relaxed, until I saw everyone's cameras suddenly turn to something.

My eyes followed where they were pointing, and I watched Chase walk down the stairs, wearing a black sweatshirt with spikes on the hood.

The anxiousness returned and my heart rate sped up. Tension filled the room as our eyes met from a distance, slowly closing in until he was standing right in front of me.

When Chase noticed the many cameras surrounding us, his cold expression changed to a warm smile.

"Hey Josh. Your outfit's sick." He said, gesturing to the 'Still Softish' merch I was wearing with a hint of sarcasm.

"Thanks." I said, the room feeling even more awkward.

Soon, people began talking again and the uncomfortable silence ended. Chase and I parted ways the minute the cameras were off us.

Eventually though, it was time to film the segment where the Hype House members reacted to the music video.

We went through everyone who wanted to participate, saving Chase for last since it was about him.

Finally, the time came for him to watch it and I felt my breath catch as he sat in between Bryce and I, but slightly closer to me.

I found myself zoning out while staring at his face as he watched the video and made comments on it.

When I realized what I was doing, confusion set in and I tried my best to avoid looking at him.

After filming was over, I felt like I could actually breathe again. Chase left quickly, making me upset for some reason. I thought we would at least try and talk it out, but I guess not.

We spent a few more hours there, recording tiktoks with everyone, getting a few with just Chase and I, and catching up with each other.

"Hey guys, I think we should go. It's getting kind of late." Jaden announced.

The other Sway boys groaned in response, not ready to move from their comfortable positions on the couch. I, however, jumped up briskly and reached the door before Jaden did.

As Jaden opened the door to let us all out, we froze at the sight of snow covering the ground and piled up on our car.

The streets were completely coated with about 4 or 5 inches of snow, and with how hard the snow was still falling, a new layer would be added soon.

When Thomas saw that we hadn't left, he peaked around us, standing there silently for a minute before saying, "I guess your not going any where."

"I can try to crank up the car." Jaden offered, pulling his thin, plaid shirt tighter around himself.

"No, don't worry about it. You guys can stay here until it clears up. I'm gonna go check the news." Thomas responded.

Everyone followed after him, but I stayed and stared at the snow that was keeping me in this awkward situation.

"The unexpected snowfall tonight has kept many people home and some stuck outside of the state." I overheard the news reporter say.

I finally pealed myself away from the scene in front of me and walked over to the TV where everyone was gathered.

"The forecast predicts that temperatures will drop and the snow will continue over night. The snow should stop by tomorrow morning, but Californians in LA, San Diego, and Palm Springs can expect to be snowed in for about 24 hours."

We all turned to each other in shock, waiting for someone to say something.

"There's enough space in the living room for Sway if you guys don't mind sleeping on couches." Thomas spoke up.

"No, that's fine. Thanks for not dumping us on the street." Bryce said, lightening the mood a little.

Chase's POV

I stared at the wall across from my bed, sitting in silence while the LED's in my room flashed different colors.

Is Josh Richards really in my house right now? Was I really sitting next to him?  Did I actually just talk to-

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, "Come in." I said.

"Hey Chase!" Nick said loudly, bursting into the room.

I threw a pillow at him for being so loud at midnight, "What do you want?"

"Geez, calm down. Just came to tell you that we're snowed in and Sway is spending the night."

"What?!"
