Revenge to Love

Chapter 14

           "Noor's outfit''

     Last night after Adil's episode of madness, i didn't bother following him to ask him what he means, i already have a lot on my head, work and everything.

      I pray to Allah to make my dad better after i finished praying, i shower and decide to sleep for a few hours,before going to work.
  I wake up at 9:00, not late for work, wait I'm the Boss , i can do what i want, and i can go to work anytime.

     I sigh and rest my head on my table, i have been in the office for just two hours but i can't seem to get much work done and i don't know why, something is stopping me, i intercom Luke to get me coffee, he replies with a okay ma'am, i take up the file on my table to go through it again, it's a new deal from knight & co, my office door open, i didn't bother to look up thinking its Luke, Noor I hear a voice i know so well, Adil i raise my head up.

What are you doing here i ask him, he ignores me and hold my hand, let go  for lunch love he says, Adil i call out to him cause I'm really confused, shh my love he shush me, just have lunch with me , i decide to keep quiet and follow him to wherever he is taking me to.

My employees are all looking at us, the path way for us as we pass, he leads me to his car and open the passenger door for me , i send him a smile and buckle myself up, where are we going to i ask him as he gets in the car, to have lunch he says, Adil I'm serious i tell him, he sigh and turn to look at me, I'm taking you to this new restaurant, their foods are nice he says, okay i mutter and lean back on the car chair.

    I blurt out the question that has been bugging me, but why did you decide to take me out for lunch i ask him, for goodness sake Noor, I'm trying to be a good husband, stop questioning my actions he snaps, my mouth form an 'o', fine i mutter, we arrive at the restaurant, not bad the restaurant is beautiful, don't open your door Adil says as he open his door .

     He opened my door and helped me out, this Adil is scaring me, why is he so nice. A waiter leads us to our table which is in a private room, a waiter comes to take our order, are you ready for your order he ask looking at me with a smile, yeah sure i mutter.

    Stop looking at my wife Adil snaps from no way, I look up from the menu to see him glaring at the waiter, I'm sorry sir, i didn't know she is your wife the waiter says in fear, Adil let it be i try to calm him, he glare at the waiter before taking my hands in his, the waiter quickly took our order and left.

      Another waiter brought our food, Adil definitely scared the other one, poor guy. So tell me how has work being he ask me? umm good, lots of work and i have projects with this Italian client which means i have to go to Italy for two weeks, he looks at me with a blank face, here comes the storm, well that a good opportunity for us to have our honeymoon he say leaving me shocked, huh i ask?
         What? don't you want to go on a honeymoon he ask, no it just that our marriage.. is not based on love he finishes for me, yes i dock my head down, he sighs and stand up, walking to my side he kneels down before me.

      Noor i know you don't love me, you probably hate me for forcing you to marry me, i got blind by my ego and anger, why will a woman slap me and that too in public and i will keep quiet, no way.
   My stupid brain made me took a stupid decision, like who the hell gets married to take revenge, so i wanna say that I'm sorry for what i did to you. I put myself in your position and asked myself how will i behave if someone says that about my sister, i will definitely beat him up, but you just slapped me and look at the shit i did to you.

     So Noor let start over as friends, i know gradually we will fall in love, Noor will you forgive me and give me a chance to make out marriage work. I have tears running down my cheeks, he wipes them and look at me with hope, he has realized his mistake, why not give him a chance again.

    I smile and nod my head, i will give you a chance Adil i tell him, he smiles and hug me, thanks my love he whisper in my ear, common let eats, we have to prepare for your honeymoon he says while beaming at me, i chuckle and turn to my food.

Finally I have updated, i can't tell you guys how sorry i am for keeping you waiting, but our Adil and Noor are going on a journey of love , i can't wait 💃🏽💃🏽
