chapter 3

Kuvira pov:

Staring at the small girl I started to feel bad for her, being locked in a cell and tied up like a animal, no child should be held up like this.

She didn't look up at me yet. Just kept her gaze down at the floor and wrapped her arms around herself, shivering from how cold it was due to the metal surrounding her.

Before I could say anything to her I was rudely interrupted

"A CHILD!"

It was non other than Bataar...that blithering idiot

Glaring back at him I ignored his statement and ordered the guards to open the cell door which caught the attention of the little girl

looking up she stared at me with big innocent eyes, tilting her head to the side with curiosity taking over her face, I couldn't help but give a small smile at the sight.

"Are you crazy?! She could be dangerous!!"

Everyone just stared at him like he had just grown two heads.

"How can a small kid like her hurt anyone Bataar? She looks like she wouldn't even be capable of hurting a bug, I mean look at her" one of the guards reply

We all look at her direction taking in her form

It was true, she looked to sweet and pure to hurt anyone. Not to mention she looked a little bit malnourished and was tiny for her age which I'm guessing was 4 years old

I think she got overwhelmed with all of us looking at her because she got scared and looked down at her feet

"Okay, that's enough!" I stated

"All of you stop looking at her, can't you see you are all making her uncomfortable"

After I said that they all looked away in shame.

Sighing I turn my head towards the girl and crouched down to her size

"Hello little one, I hope my guards didn't frighten you to much. They can be really annoying at times"

I heard a little giggle but she tried to cover it up with a cough and continue to look down

"If it's all right I would like to ask how you managed to sneak into my territory?"

I was meet with silence.

I decided to ask again but she said nothing

Groaning softly I stood up, leaving the interrogating to my guards. As I was about to leave with Bataar next to me I heard a gentle sob behind me

Quickly looking back i saw the little girl crying trying to wipe her tears away. She mumbled something but non of us could hear it.

Walking back to her I ask to repeat what she said

" *sob*.....froggy..*sob* "

"Froggy?" Question Bataar

"What's froggy?" I could hear them behind me talking amongst themselves

Looking into to her eyes I ask "who's or what is froggy?"

Tears now dripping down her little face and cheeks starting to turn red
"froggy is my is my teddy *hiccup* I dropped him when they were chasing me"
she said pouting and pointing at the guards behind me.

Continuing to sob softly, I came up with a quick plan.

"Alright, how bout this, I help you find your froggy and after, you tell me how you got here and where you came from, Okay?"

Giving it a little think she nodded her head.

Turning my head towards to guards I command them to unlock her and to go on a search for the missing teddy

Coming out of the cell I noticed that she is limping 'she must've gotten hurt at some point, I'll ask when when we've finished our search'

Feeling bad for her I pick her up and Carry her in my arms

"Are you okay with me picking you up like this? I notice you were limping and I didn't want you to injure yourself even more"

She simply nodded her head and gently rested her head on my chest

'Mha heart😭' I said internally but kept a calm face

"Kuvira are you mad! She could probabl-"

"Hush Bataar, don't tell me what to do! I know what I'm doing!" Now frustrated with his bullshit

Walking out of the holding cell we go off for our search in silence

Until the little girl broke the silence with a question I was not really expecting

"What's your name?"

"......kuvira.."

"That's a nice name, I'm y/n"

Laughing softly I replied with

"Well y/n, it's very nice to meet you"

(A/n) heyyy, sorry I haven't update for a while I've just been under alot of stress since collage loves giving me tons of work to do. Also sorry for the short chapter next update I'll try and make it longer.😎😉
