Part 1 Midoriya and Bakugou

Midoriya:

Autistic. He is 100% autistic to me. The maths check out. He's got a special interest, heroes, and that's why his whole life revolves around it. He wants to be a hero, talk about heroes, his room is full of hero merchandise. The muttering? I think it helps him with processing, and maybe it's a stim. It could be an auditory stim to hear himself, or maybe feeling himself talk is what he likes. This also adds to him not always getting social standards. He comes off as a bit weird, especially with his fanboy nature. Despite this, he's made a few close friends, and tries to be friends with everyone. Also, neurodiverse people attract fellow neurodivergent folks, so since I feel pretty strongly about Iida(you'll see) this makes sense as well.
Empathy! You can say being bullied taught him higher empathy, but neurodiverse people experience empathy differently from neurotypicals! While neurotypical folks can understand what you're going through, neurodiverse people feel what you're going through. They go beyond just understanding it and they feel it for themselves. He also cries a ton and I know it annoys a lot of people watching including me. He cries for pretty much every emotion, and I think that may be because he just can't process strong emotions very well yet, because they're so overwhelming to him.

Bakugou:

Deaf bakugou? Heck yeah. I mean he screams a lot, explosions screw up your hearing, it makes sense to me. Plus there are lots of cool ways it could be included in a story. Nothing like trying to be a hero with a disability. And then he can just become a hero anyway and laugh in the faces of anyone who doubted him. (Not that anyone really doubted him)

I'm not saying you can't be alone... I'm just saying why doesn't he have a female counterpart set up for him? Kinda suspicious as the deuteragonist that he doesn't get one... anyway yea Kirishima is just a good friend ;)

P T S D ALL THE WAY I mean tbh just look at him. He's been through plenty of PTSD-able events, so I mean makes sense. Assault and being kidnapped come to mind. Lashing out at people who just want to help you? Happens to a lot of people. He seems kinda hypervigilant too, which definitely would make sense. Why wouldn't you be on edge all the time? Plus the whole hating being touched thing makes sense too.

I bet he has like a ten step skin care routine. He knows how to have that Good Hygiene™️ because I gotta say nitroglycerin is probably tough on the skin. Makes him very soft though.

Listens to aggressive punk and metal music, but also secretly enjoys a variety of pop songs. No one needs to know about the Katy Perry album he has saved at the bottom of his playlists.
