𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐘𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐁𝐘𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐏. She had tried her best to ignore the stares that she had happened to be receiving all day from Santana, Brittany, and Quinn, whom also joined the glee club not so long ago.
Casey had wanted to ask why they decided to join so very bad but it was best if she didn't because after all it was none of her business.
Mr. Schue had just given out lyric sheets to everyone for a 'West Side Story' solo.
"Excuse me, this isn't the right key." Rachel spoke. Casey looked up at the girl. "No. It's actually the right key." Mr.Shue reassured. "No, no, this is the alto part."
"Yep. Tina's doing the solo." Mr.Shue said. Casey gave tina a wide smile. Tina smiled back at Casey shyly.
"I'm sorry, there must be some sort of mix up. I thought I made it very clear that anything from "West Side Story" goes to me. Maria is my part! Natalie Wood was a Jew, you know. I've had a very deep, personal connection to this role since the age of one." Rachel argued.
Mr.Schue sighed, "Look Rachel, I'm trying to shake things up a bit. Get us out of our boxes."
"You're trying to punish me."
'So delusional', Casey thought.
"I think you're being irrational." Mr.Shue shrugged. "I think you're being unfair!" Rachel raised her voice at the teacher.
Casey had decided to speak up for her friend. "And i think your being unfair to Tina, who might have been happy about getting her first solo."
Rachel threw daggers at Casey.
"Rachel, i don't mean to be rude or anything but not everything is about you."
It became silent in the room as everyone looked up at Casey. The girl had never said anything as remotely confident before today.
Santana let out a snort as she found the surprised look on Rachel's face amusing. Casey noticed all the stares and started to feel uncomfortable.
"Wait... I'm a Jet?" Mercedes spoke, disturbing the silence. Rachel pouted at her teacher and Casey before dramatically storming out of the room.
"The more times she storms out of rehearsal, the less impact it has." Artie said.
Mr.Schue turned to Tina, ignoring Artie's comment. "Congratulations, Tina.
