"You!" Sid screeched at the now standing human form of Marco, his hands still on fire with the mesmerizing blue flames.
"I'll be the least of your problems when I'm finished here." Marco started forward, Alexia flanking his side.
Alexia was extremely aware of how fast the tent was going up into flames. The heat from the fire felt as if it was licking her exposed skin.
"Wha... What are you two standing around for?! Handle them!" Sid yelled at her two men who remained frozen and wide eyed.
Both men were quite scrawny, their clothes hung loosely around their frames. They almost looked identical to each other. The one to the left shoved the other man in front of him, encouraging him to act first. He took a deep breath before lunging forward, a knife in hand.
Marco easily side stepped, foot stuck out to the side. The man tripped over Marco's foot, faceplanting the ground.
Before he had time to look back at the man now on the ground, the second man was running at him, arms flailing and weaponless.
"You don't get to hurt Calvin!" He yelled, obviously the higher pitched voice from earlier.
Marco sent a flaming fist forward into his face, sending flying into the far wall of the tent. He started screaming as burning portions of the tent's fabric fell on him.
"Darius!" The man who was supposedly Calvin scrambled forwards towards the other, ignoring Marco completely.
Sid took the opportunity to grab the wooden seat she had previously occupied, lifting it above her head and sending it flying towards Alexia. Alexia ducked down, allowing the seat to shatter into tiny pieces on the cold ground.
Alexia wondered momentarily how it even held Sid's weight.
Marco turned towards Sid, stopping when Alexia placed a hand on his shoulder. Alexia stalked towards Sid, a crooked grin on her face as her fingers played with the handle of the knife in her hand.
"This one is all mine." Alexia chuckled slightly as Sid glared at her.
"You little bitch, you can't do nothing to me." Sid growled, grabbing an old sword from the tent pole next to her.
"The game is so much fairer when your prey isn't chained." Alexia almost purred, "Now it's time for the hunter to become the hunted... if you can even be considered a hunter that is."
Alexia dodged the sword that came down towards her head, rolling to the side. She looked up to find another strike of the sword sloppily coming down towards her head again.
Marco started towards the two men as Calvin finished helping Darius remove all the burning material off of him, burns all over his face. He could handle them easily.
Alexia was slightly aware of how warped and old the sword Sid was holding looked. It didn't seem like it would hold up too much in a fight.
As if on que, Sid once again brought the sword down towards Alexia's head which she easily dodged. The end of the sword struck the stone-cold ground with a solid thunk, followed by the slight sound of heavy metal clinking and hitting the ground. The sword broke just slightly before the hilt in a jagged line, causing Sid to let out a cry of anger.
"You little bitch! Why won't you just stay still!"
"I'm not just a little bitch, honey. I'm the bitch." Alexia stood straighter as she began to walk towards Sid again, "And that bird boy right there, well he's my bird boy. And nobody fucks with him without dealing with me."
The closer Alexia got, the more obvious it was Sid was nervous. She never had to deal with things hands on, that what her men had been used for. When it came to this sort of thing, Sid was like a dog. All bark and no bite.
Sid attempted to strike Alexia with the broken sword head on. Alexia side stepped, using one hand to grab one of Sid's arms by the elbow, propelling her forward. Sid lost her balance, falling forward towards the ground. Alexia brought the butt of her knife in her other hand back towards Sid's head, striking her.
Alexia tried not to scrunch up her face at the smell of Sid's body odor as her body went past her onto the floor.
At any moment, the tent was going to collapse, almost nothing of the fabric remained. Knowing this, Alexia let out a sigh before grasping Sid by her lower legs, pulling her towards the front of the tent.
Sid attempted to kick her legs out at Alexia as she directed them both out of the tent. Alexia growled at the sheer weight of the woman she had to drag.
Within a matter of minutes, Alexia had managed to cuff Sid with the cuff she had originally worn. The short struggle had felt like hours as Alexia directed her attention towards the tent. Marco was no where to be seen, the structures holding up the tent collapsing on the bodies of Darius and Calvin who now showed no signs of life.
Sid didn't even seem bothered by the presence of their burning bodies.
Something landed lightly on Alexia's shoulder, causing her to turn around quickly, arm flying out towards the source's face. Marco's hand easily grasped her closed one that came close to his face with a small laugh.
"Easy Lexie."
"Holy shit Marco!" Alexia slightly pounded against his chest, "Don't scare the hell out of me! Say something before you come out of nowhere!"
"Noted." Marco clicked his tongue before looking down at Sid, who was attempting to get to her feet, "And then there was one."
Alexia stepped forward, placing a foot on Sid's chest as she roughly pushed her back into the snow. She kept her foot on her chest, increasing the pressure as she leaned forward, using her knife to slightly brush against Sid's cheek.
"The child," Alexia growled, "You said there was a child. Where?!"
"I don't know wha..." Sid was cut of by her own shriek as Alexia forced the tip of the knife into her shoulder.
"I don't think I fucking stuttered Sid. The kid, now." Alexia removed the knife just to stab it into her other shoulder to prove a point.
Sid refuse to speak except for her cries of pain, as the fire began spreading to the other tents. Marco remained silent behind Alexia, watching the scene unfold. Alexia knew Marco would not stop her.
"I won't ask you again. Where is..."
The sound of cries pieced through the air, coming from the far tent that was quickly being consumed by the flames.
"Marco!"
"I'm on it." Marco shot back as he flew forward toward the tent in phoenix form, disappearing inside.
Alexia knew he and the child would be okay. Marco was the expert at his own flames. Alexia turned her attention back towards Sid, who was glaring towards Marco's direction.
"What do you think your looking at?" Alexia growled, tracing the lower part of Sid's left eye with the tip of her knife.
"What's the worse you can do? Kill me?!" Side let out a small hysterical chuckle.
"Oh no sweetheart, Pops will do that." Alexia smirked, before pushing her knife completely into her eye.
