17)Arranged relationship.

I was awoken by peter shaking me to get up we arrived back home and we walked into the house. My dad was exhausted and went straight to his room. Peter and I went to mine. I took a shower first as peter played on my Nintendo switch. I got changed into pj's and walked back into the room. Peter got up quickly and gave me a hug and a kiss. He then went into the bathroom and got in the shower I flopped onto my bed and was deep in thought. How am I supposed to tell peter that my dad wants me to 'date' another peter?

I guess I was completely lost in thought because an hour had gone by and peter had walked out of the bathroom and laid next to me. He played with my hair for a bit.

"Peter my dad has this crazy idea that he dropped on me at my party." I said.

"Tell me" he said still wrapping my wet hair around his fingers.

"You're not gonna like it one bit, my dad wants to join this other business. Like connect the two and the way him and the other guy want to do that is through me and his son 'dating' and I know that's crazy" I told him I didn't want to hide it from him and I wanted to talk to someone about it.

"Are you serious? Why do you need to date that kid in order for you to connect the businesses?" He asked he looked mad and confused.

I guess when we're older the two industries will be connected and called Stark & June Industries And apparently they will make a lot more money. Of course I didn't agree to it but my dad set up a meeting to talk more about it and I don't want to do it." I complained. I really don't want to be in a relationship with someone I don't know. " and what hurts the most is, I think my dad only threw this party and revealed me to the world because of this business deal he didn't care about my acting career or what I wanted to do it was all for him." I sighed and I didn't realize it yet but I was crying and peter had wrapped himself around me.

"I know how you feel baby. I'm sorry maybe it's a misunderstanding or something your father loves you" he whispered.

We fell asleep.

I woke up and peter was gone and In his place was a note that read:

Went to school see you later! <3 ~Your boyfriend.

I smiled at the note and set it on the table. I got up and walked out down stairs. I saw the chef making breakfast but I poured myself a bowl of cereal. He soon realized and took it away and poured it himself and then placed it on the table and went back into the kitchen. I sat down and my dad wasn't in sight.

"Ms. Stark! Your father has guests and is waiting for you in his office." A lady with a clipboard spoke I finished up and went down to his office as I walked over to the door I heard people speaking.

"If my son and your daughter aren't in a relationship by next week you can kiss this damn partnership goodbye Stark! And I mean it. June industries is a giant company and you would be stupid not to give your daughter up. The girl is still a kid meaning you can force them to do anything." The man spoke/yelled. This seemed so serious and I was in silk pjs with my hair up. I pushed open the door and all arguments stopped. I walked in as I saw my father sitting at his desk while Oliver June was bent over the desk, his son however was sitting across from my dad with his hands folded. As I walked in they all looked at me.

"I was told you wanted to see me dad?" I asked me dad stood up and walked over and gave me a hug. I sat down next to Peter June.

"Well Ms. Stark looking lovely" Oliver June spoke.

"Thanks I just woke up." I said in a sarcastic tone leaning back in the chair and folding my arms "now let me get this straight. You want me to fake a stupid relationship with your son for the public?" I asked.

"Yes it would only be for show. You two don't even have to see eachother most of the time." Oliver said.

"But that means I can't have a real boyfriend." I spoke blankly.

"Right and wrong, you can date but it has to stay secret and this has to be public" Oliver spoke once again.

"I don't understand why we have to date in order for a partnership." I said I was genuinely confused I didn't understand why our fathers can't just design a company to host the two together.

"See tony and I we are own company. With your two combined together as one that connects the two family businesses" Oliver spoke. "You're 16 now so you can legally date my son who is 17 turning 18 next month." He continued.

"Yeah but I still don't understand why we need to be in a relationship." I said again.

"You see if you have one country and another country, completely rivals competing eachother but one offers a princess to the king for the prince it builds a bond between the two kingdoms. So we take that concept and mashing it with two rival businesses to create peace and more money for both parties" he said.

I looked to my dad and he looked back with pleading eyes.

"I guess we can make an agreement." I sighed I looked down defeated all though I was upset with my father he did seem to know this is best. We ended the meeting with signing some paperwork.
