13) Day of relaxation. and dad...

I was laying in bed scrolling through some social media's I decided I wanted to go swimming. I really haven't been in our pool in ages. It's a shame because we have such a huge house with many features and we barely use it. I get dressed into my most comfortable bathing suit. Took a glance in the mirror.

"You are so beautiful and confident" I spoke to myself.

I grabbed my sunglasses and walked down the stairs. I went outside and went to the bar area and opened the cabinet under the sink. I grabbed the sunscreen and a fresh towel that smelled of roses. I walked over to the pool and picked my pool chair and laid my towel over it and adjusted it to lay back. I applied the sunscreen and then took off my flip flops. I walked over to the stairs of the pool and walked in it was so cold yet so nice and refreshing. I shivered and then walked in more. I was now waist deep and I decided to just dunk myself and so I did. I was chilling in the pool doing some laps. I got out and turned on the hot tub to warm up. I waited for a little while and got in it was so bubbly and hot. I French braided my damp hair and put my sun glasses on and chilled for a little bit just relaxing. It was suck a nice day. I turned on some music over the speakers and jammed out I decided to hop out of the hot tub and dry off. I put my flip flops on and walked over to the snack cabinet outside. Grabbed some (favorite candy), (favorite chip), and (drink). I sat on the chair getting a tan it was great this is what I needed. I was now dry and finished up snacking. I got up and walked into the house and went to the lab and saw my dad working on a new machinery.

"Hey pop" I yelled he must give gotten startled because he popped up and dropped on of his tools.

"Jesus Christ you scared the shit out of me" Tony said he then laughed a little picked up the dropped item. "What are you doing kid?" He questioned.

"Oh i was just swimming and enjoying the hot tub~" I said hinting at him to come join me.

"Finally you use that it's been sitting empty for a while." He responded not understanding that I wanted to hang out with him he was still fixated on his stupid project.

"Yeah you should come out and swim with me you could use a break dad!" I said smiling I now have plopped myself right next to him on the bench with my towel still wrapped around my body.

"Honey I really can't I have so much to do I have THIS to figure out and a party to plan for you. I'm flooded with everything" he said he put his palms to his eyes.

"Well what's wrong with this?" I asked thinking I could help him.

"This damn socket is broken some how but it looks completely fine I don't understand what is wrong with it." He sighed he looked defeated.

"Can I take a quick look" I asked he nodded and I picked it up and fidgeted a little. I then grabbed it and pulled it out my dad was about to stop me but I put my hand up signaling him to wait. I examined the little piece a little more. Then it hit me, I got up and placed the piece on the microscope and looked in. And let me tell you I saw the problem. "Dad" I called out.

"What, What is it?" He asked frantically.

"So what we have here is a Nanochip right? Well if you zoom in and look at the base you see a tinyyyy little red light right in the middle." I took a picture of the microscopes sights and took out the chip. "So if we insert this chip into the computer do a little bit of recoding because, your equations are SO off Pops. You get these results." I finished reprogramming the chip and double checked to see the chips base. "And boom there you go green light. I take it out and put it back in its spot and my dad tested it out and it worked.

"Oh wow (y/n) that was very good I didn't even catch that one." He said

"Ofc you didn't dad!" I said rubbing it into his face. We spent the rest of the day fixing things together and I was beat I went up to my room and climbed into my bed. I pulled out my phone and saw I had a lot of missing phone calls and texts from peter. Shoot.
