I got the day off to assist Aizawa's class at the USJ. We load the bus and I listen to them bicker about Bakugo's rotten personality. I have a bad feeling in my gut but I shake it off. Probably something that will happen at home later. That's usually what that feeling gets me.
While 13 talks about how quirks can easily be used to kill, a blackish- purple portal appears at the center of the USJ.
"Thirteen protect the kids!" I jump down with Aizawa and fight.
"What the hell are you doing Ako?! Get out of here!"
"No way in hell." I grunt as I kick a gun quirk villain in the face, knocking him out.
"Aizawa jump!" He does so and I stomp on the ground and freeze every villain where we are.
"Surrender or the ice will freeze your feet to the point where they will need amputation. You have about 20 seconds until that point."
They all dop any weapons or lower their arms or retract their quirks. I melt the Ice and they all kick off their shoes and try warming them right away. Trying to calm their third degree frostbite.
"Agghh. You took out all my pawns. Now I have to start playing the bigger peices." The hand villain states. Within seconds, I am pinned down by the bird monster. I emit my ice on its body and it freezes over and stops all movement. I screams as it freezes. I melt the Ice and break free. It runs at Aizawa instead and slammed his face into the ground and broke his arm.
"I can't do anything! I'll end up getting you too!"
"Gah! Just do something!" He hand villain approaches him and I glare. I let out a feline hiss and crouch.
"Oh? A feral feline to get in my way. But you can defeat my Nomu so I can't hurt you."
"Let him go." The bird slams his face down once more before getting off him. The villain goes to kill Asui when his quirk stoped working.
"You really are so cool Eraserhead."
All might busts in and starts fighting the monster while I carry Aizawa to the gathering heroes and paramedics at the gates. They rush him to a hospital and I sprint off to see if Shoto is okay. When I catch sight of him I use my ice to glide over even faster.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" I panic. Checking him all over.
"Ako. I'm fine. I took care of the villains on my end with no issue." I take a sigh of relief and see a freezing Hagakure. I warm up my body ever so slightly and hug her bare body to warm her. She really should get a better costume than just gloves. She needs something like Mirio that is adapted to her DNA.
She thanks me and I carry her to the entrance on my back. To keep her warm. Once we get to the gates I hand her over to the paramedics and then see Midorya. He broke his arm again and was in rough shape. I feel my phone buzzing off like crazy and I know it's Touya.
Fucktard: are you okay?
Fucktard:I saw the news please respond
Fucktard: I'm coming there if you and Shoto aren't okay
Me: were fine. We weren't hurt. No need to come here. Although I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll see of this league.
Fucktard:oh thank God. I love you Ako.
Me: love you too Touya.
We are given the rest of the day off from school. We have tomorrow off as well. The sports festival should be coming up soon thankfully. That should lift everyone's spirits.
I walk home with Shoto and as I expected, father is freaking out and making sure his 'precious creations' are alright. He even told us we have the day off from training. He seemed so proud when I told him how I stopped the Nomu from causing further damage. He was proud that we took out do many villains and wouldn't shut up about how one of us had the potential to beat all might.
After a very long and boring day of no school, we finally get to return the next day. My hero classes aren't even classes anymore. We just do work studies now that they've started. If I wasn't there, Aizawa might even be dead. I'm just glad I was here to save him.
He walks into class with his face bandaged like a mummy and his left arm in a sling. He announces the sports festival and dismissed the class early. I notice this bandages have a bit of blood and I grab the wrapping that recovery girl gave me for him.
"Let me rewrap your face. I need to change the bandages."
"Fine." He sits in his chair and I unwrap the bandages from his face. His face isn't too bad but one noticable place under his eye will definitely leave a nasty scar.
I rewrap his face and he thanks me. I help him grade papers until the block ends.
At the end of the day, I have my hero course class. But today we have work studies instead of class.
I leave the building in my hero costume and fly through the air with my fire to get to Keigo. I drop down on his agency and see him standing there waiting for me.
"I was beginning to think you weren't gonna make it kid."
"I always make it. If I don't I'm dead. But very little has the ability to actually kill me."
We do patrols and talk about the USJ incident. I can't help but blush whenever he calls me his stupid nicknames. Why the hell is anyone THIS hot. I can incinerate people and he's still hotter than me. Like goddamn. Bird man is perfect.
My phone buzzes when we get back to the agency and see that Fuyumi was just saying hi. I say hi back and then go inside the building with Keigo.
