Chapter 21 "I've Been Waiting"

The next few days were pretty uneventful. Quincy ended up going home and Finn was on set almost all day. He wasn't able to go to class on Monday meaning that I had to go alone. I was not excited. I woke up and did my morning routine. Finn began sleeping on the couch again so I folded up the blankets that he left. I grabbed a protein bar as my breakfast before running out the door. Raven offered to drive me but I declined because I enjoyed walking. After I arrived in class I sat next to Raven. My confidence level was extremely low with Finn not being around. It soon hit me that Noah wouldn't be coming either so it would just be me and Raven. "Where's our 2 leading men?" The teacher asks the class looking around the room.

"Um they are filming for stranger things today" I explain "Finn said that he emailed you about the information and stuff like that"

"Oh okay" she responds "I'll go check that right now" she went over to her desk and went on her computer. The rest of the class sat there in silence. "Very well" the teacher says walking back towards the class "let's begin shall we?" Class went pretty slow because we were just going through the blocking. I hated it because they were using Andy to replace Finn and another random jock to replace Noah. I'm pretty sure they both joined the drama class because it was easy and it gave you an art credit which was needed to graduate.

"They aren't even the right height" Raven rants to me during a break "I think that they should just wait for Finn and Noah to come back"

I nod. "Yeah because now how are Finn and Noah going to know where to stand?" I ask.

"I should text Noah" Raven explains "he's not going to be happy"

"Aww you have his number now?" I ask. Her cheeks light up with a tint of red.

"He asked for it" Raven explains. She types a few things into her phone "okay I texted him. When do you think he will respond?"

"I don't know. It depends" I explain hearing her phone buzz.

"Oh it's him" she says reading from her phone "Noah said that they should be done in a few minutes and that we should meet them for lunch after class! The entire cast would be coming!"

"Entire cast?" I ask "how many?"

"Does it matter?" Raven asks excited "they want us to meet their friends! This is serious!"

"Correction, Noah wants you to meet his friends. Finn has said nothing to me about it." I explain. After a few seconds my phone buzzes too.

"Is it him?" Raven asks trying to get a look at my phone.

"Yeah" I reply "he asked if I wanted to go to lunch with him and his stranger things friends"

"Aww that's so sweet" Raven says.

"Remember how he acts around his other friends?" I asked Raven referring to how he acted around the losers.

"This will be different!" Raven says shaking my shoulders "you already know Noah and I'll be on your side"

"Not convinced" I say shutting off my phone.

"Oh come on! He won't act like that again because he has a little crushie on you" Raven says teasing me.

"I thought he did" I respond "but after the night that Quincy left we haven't really talked. He even started sleeping on the couch again."

"Maybe he's just focused on filming" Raven explains.

"I guess" I say sighing "okay fine I'll go but if I want to leave you better get me out of there!"

"Okay deal!" Raven says. Class went by pretty quickly after that. That's what always happens when people are nervous about something. The next thing I knew I was entering the door of a restaurant to see Finn and Noah with 2 other girls and 2 other boys. "Don't be nervous" Raven whispered in my ear as we approached the table.
