Chapter 10 "Falling For You"

I sit down between my friend and Noah. "Where's Finn?" Noah asks.

"He was taking a long time..." I respond. I didn't want to tell him what actually happened because I didn't want to make Finn or myself look bad.

"Oh okay" Noah responds. He goes back to reading the script.

"So did Finn say anything about me?" My friend asks while whispering in my ear. I knew that he was not interested in her but I felt bad. She was my best friend and I just wanted her to be happy.

"He didn't say anything but I saw him looking at you." I respond. That was a lie. He was looking at me but she was next to me so it wasn't too far from the truth.

Finn comes back into the room and sits besides Noah "dude we have a few scenes together!" Noah says hitting Finn on the arm.

"Sweet!" Finn says leaning over to see what Noah was reading "what's happening?" Finn asks.

"This is the part where I die. I get to lay on the floor! It's going to be awesome!" Noah explains.

"Woah dude I get to watch you die!" Finn says laughing. I just acted like I was reading the script on my laptop but I couldn't help but listen to their conversation. They were interested in the weirdest things and to be honest I found it kind of funny. "Dude do I die?" Finn asks while Noah quickly shuffles the papers to the ending scene.

"No you just walk away from the hospital window. But you probably die after that just not on stage." Noah says.

"That's boring. Will you watch me die off stage?" Finn asks.

"Of course bro!" Noah responds and they do some kind of hand shake.

"Okay okay calm down class! We are going to read through the script today! Please start trying to learn these lines!" The teacher says sitting down at her desk.

The class reads through the entire script. It actually wasn't bad considering we were all just sitting there. Noah was actually a really good actor and he was perfect for the part of Poe. He had everyone laughing after all of his lines. As much as I hate admitting it but Finn also did really good. He slowly started showing emotions just like he did in real life. My friend did good as the nurse. I knew she really wanted to be Stella so I could tell she wasn't trying her best. After class my friend and I are walking in the halls.

"You did so good bestie!" She exclaims.

"Thank you! I was so nervous but it actually wasn't that bad!" I say trying not to give myself too much credit.

"Finn was also really good. He's so dreamy!" She responds.

"You guys would make such a cute couple." Was the only thing I could manage to get out. I hated Finn but was jealous of my best friend for liking him at the same time. It was just complicated.

"Y/n wait up!" I hear behind me. I turn around to see Noah trying to catch up but next to him was Finn. Oh no.

"Hey Noah!" I say ignoring Finn. I pulled a Finn on Finn so I was pretty proud of myself.

"Hey y/n!" Finn says with a smirk. Okay so this is nice Finn, weird.

"Hey guys!" My friend says. She was mostly just trying to get Finn to notice her but she wasn't very successful.

"Y/n you were so good as Stella! You nailed everything!" Noah says wrapping his arm around me as I walked. It wasn't in a weird way, just a friendly way so I didn't mind.

"Thank you! You were so good as Poe! I haven't laughed that hard in a while!" I respond.

"Do you guys want to come with us to get ice cream?" My friend asks them. Please say no please say no please say no-
